There is so much care, precision, and love dedicated to the space, making sure to keep the vibration as high as possible. Very accepting and understanding energy - which was super intimidating at first! I was able to center my Earth Star with Lori's help and it was really disorienting at first, but I knew it's what my soul really needed as I've been "out of body" for most of my life. I took a reiki 1 certification course and on the second day, she got weird. To me she felt a little paranoid of "bad energy" and even stopped the class to provide my sister and I a "reiki cleanse" as in her own word she needed "to detach" from the energy. I didnt think much of it at first and respected her judgement since I thought, "she must know what she's talking about" but after reflecting more on it and allowing time and my own search, I see it as unprofessional and almost borderline paranoid. Her anxiety got projected onto mine. Even my sister felt the same. The reason I went along with it was because I didn't know what to expect, I've never had an experience like that one as I was hoping to seek a more holistic humanistic one. Its been a year so maybe she's worked through that fear of her, who knows. But this was my experience when attending a year ago. Lots of "do and don't". Weird.

After some serious loss and trauma I was desperate to try anything; because nothing was working. I was truly destroying myself. I asked Cory to help me heal. I have never been able to shut off anything in my mind or body, especially with the turmoil I had going on. We had an amazing Reiki session and chord cutting ceremony. For the first time I was able to shut everything off and focus on myself. I left feeling at peace and relieved. Over the next few weeks I really saw the changes. My mind and body were open to healing and releasing everything I had been holding onto. Every day I felt myself coming back to my old self, but also anew self. I refused to allow the poison and negativity into my space and through that I could start healing. I am back in a place of self care and self love, I don't think I would have been open to with out Cory and her Reiki energy. Today I took part in biotune therapy.
