Foreground: R4, cashew nut with pork. Background: pad thai noodles with shrimp.
Ric D.

Fresh, hot thai food cooked in a food truck outside Longmire Springs Brewing Company. Order at the truck and eat inside the cavernous beer bar. The cashew nut dish was warming but not hot with spice, just good flavor.

Glad we caught this while we were in town for the night. Expect a wait for dinner rush esp on a Saturday. Hours currently 1130-7/730 so be prepared! 30-45 min wait towards closing. We ordered the pad se ew with pork. We were surprised to see some peanut butter, on the pork marinade? So if you have not allergies, I highly recommend noting before ordering this dish! Big plus and a sweet treat-- the Ice cream camper "truck" just around the corner out by the brewery!Stop by for a scoop while you wait for your food. :)

Drunken noodles

Thai food truck in Packwood. There is some space for seating in a building to the side (there is overhead covering and although it doesn't belong to the food truck, customers were eating their takeout there). The owner was very friendly. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp. The seasoning was good but I found it to be quite salty and greasy (I'm not sure if this was a one-off instance since my friend tried mine and said her drunken noodles were much less salty). The overall portion is on the smaller end but they were generous with the shrimp. It's quite nice to have this as an option since there aren't a ton of choices in the area.

If a full blooded vampire needs blood, a full-blooded Asian like me needs rice! Like duuuh, rice is life!!! A lot of crazy-fun experience happened to me and one of that is eateries in Packwood don't serve rice! (insert cry face) And for 10 days that we stayed here mostly for starch I got noodles and potato and it made me gag at the end of the meal. Tssssk... so on the 9th day, this food truck saved my b*tt to the nth level. Every weekend this food truck can be visibly found across to Packwood Hotel. So the moment I saw it I ran across and it's like I saw an angel playing a harp in front of me. Rice is here!!!!!!! I got a few choices in the menu for rice and I was the happiest. Ordered R1- Zest Fried Rice, fried rice with egg, mixed veggies, garlic, vegetable oil & house seasoning sauce. It was heavenly good, combination of sweet and savory taste. A bit oily but who the h*ll cares when for the past days you haven't eat anything as good as this (I took my prescription pill though). The guy (I assume the owner of the food truck) is friendly and did a great job on giving customer service. Price is reasonable too. Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow yeeps!

Yakisoba noodles with veggies and egg- yum!!

After hiking in Mt Rainier for a few days, nothing sounded better than Thai! We were thankful to find the truck at the Longmire brewery on Labor Day! I got the yakisoba (recommended!) with just veggies and it was delicious! The flavors were great and there was a good amount of veggies and egg. The woman working in the truck was the absolute sweetest and brought our food into the brewery where we were seating when it was ready a few min later. It was nice to enjoy in the brewery but it was also nice to enjoy leftovers from my hotel room later that night. Wonderful find in Packwood!

Really good Thai food. Potstickers were crunchy on the outside tender inside. Noodles cooked Al dente. Good flavor and spices. Great choice for for when you want to eat something other than Pub food, burgers, or pizza.

Very good Thai food. Enjoyed the Pad Thai and the Curry, though the curry is fairly spicy. Definitely fresh and flavorful food.

We had small wedding and she catered for us. Easiest part of wedding planning, Jan was flexible with our schedule and so attentive. The food was so good and a lot of it

Pad prik khing -R6 in menu

Don't rely on the directions. Sometimes they are at Longmire Brewery. Best to call the brewery and check. The owner recommended pad prik khing and it was AMAZING. I got so many veggies and chicken. Best food in Packwood by far. Sweetest owner too. Please be kind - she is a small business owner producing the only quality food in Packwood. I'm sure it's tough to provide the same quality of food for large crowds. We had the benefit of ordering on a lazy afternoon.

Yummy food truck! So glad we found this place before it closed. Great post hike meal. Freshly made, just like in Thailand. It's the real deal. I wish we lived closer.

This BYOF is a great area for those wanting to explore Mt. Rainier. The exterior of the brewery is…read morejust the same as the interior. I have never seen such great wooden architecture before in my life. There are enough seats to host large events as well as many games and books to enjoy. What's great about this place is that they have non-alcoholic beer as well as a variety of craft brewery. The bartender, Jason, was very helpful in deciding which beer to try. If you get a chance to come here, I highly recommend ordering: -Self Care "Scherler Easiest Lager" (N/A): very light, hoppy, tastes like a normal IPA, but without the buzz. It is a bit watered down in opinion, but I don't mind it. -Hourglass IIPA (8.5%): An Imperial IPA with strong pine and orange flavors, a little bitter, crisp, and fresh. Better than your typical lager. -Huckleberry Cider (6.4%): sweet, and beautiful color, a great choice for cider lovers. -"Virgin" Bloody Mary: your typical Mary, but without the booze, and a splash of Yucatán Habanero hot sauce. You can heat it up as much as you want with their variety of sauces. Packwood Brewery is a must try for any hikers or vacationers. Grab a pint, sit back, and relax after a very tiring adventure!

This place has the vibe and location down pat, so there's not much to discuss.. But I will. Because…read morethe tacos were embarrassing. $6 a toco.. Two 4" tortillas each. Maybe 1 oz of meat each, pickled onion, (ooh, fancy! ) and a drizzle of sour cream (see pic). At this rate, I'll need 6 tacos and $36 to feel satiated.
