Zeroe is my absolute favorite shop in the entire George Street Arcade and I have to check their stock every time I'm there as it is always rotating. They sell unique, street-worthy clothes for young women. Some of it might skew younger but as a fan of bright colors I would still wear most things they sell and I'm in my late 20s.
All the products in the shop are made by local designers and have a hip patchwork quality in unique shapes and lines--focusing on dresses, jumpers, and accessories. It is the style of shop that I saw all over the place in the artsy neighborhoods of Valparaiso, Chile where every local shop girl is trying to make a name for her designs.
To give you an idea of what you might find:
+a pullover hoodie with a map screenprint on the back and long flaps so it's almost a tunic dress (I bought it and love it)
+a grey v-neck dress with a flock of felt birds stitched onto the front and flying up the side in an asymmetrical pattern
Other pieces that jumped out at me in the past include a leopard-print jumper with lace and fringe details, bright green ankle granny-style booties, and a yellow cross-body satchel bag. Also, if you have a fashion-forward friend that likes getting compliments on their unique clothing, this is probably a better bet than Penneys or even TopShop since these pieces aren't mass produced. read more
