This caused me to leave for a while because I clearly say no men for my massage and that made me so uncomfortable. However, I wanted to give it a try again because Tina, the masseuse is that good and their prices are great. Clearly, I keep coming back, but there are a few things I don't like. For this session, they were kind enough to accommodate for me when I was late to my appointment. They accept walk-ins as well. Their entrance is relaxing and they have a few rooms for solos/couples. Prior to your massage, they ask for your preferences in detail. But then they come in the middle of your massage and ask if you'd like to add additional services. I don't like that as I just want to relax during my massage and I know what I want. I booked a 90 minute and was surprised that they ended up doing 120 minutes for me which I didn't agree to. My total ended up being $155. Tina, the masseuse always does amazing and covers every base. She is simply why I come back every time.

I met Nancy and requested a 1 hour deep tissue massage on my lower back, hips and shoulders to help alleviate my osteoarthritis pain. I'm not sure I'll come here often as this location is on the other side of Mesa from where I live in East Mesa. We'll see. Thanks again Nancy!

So if I fall asleep during a massage, it is good! Camillia worked my areas I felt needed focus and still managed to give the rest my my tired body attention too. DO NOT let her tiny frame fool you. Oh she has proper pressure and knows when to adjust well. She read my muscles and adjusted her pressure as she went. I love fellow healers that get in tune with their customers bodies/minds. It truly does make the massage amazing. The massage spot was easy to find. I loved how simple yet meaningful everything was. The water sounds and aromatherapy immediately calmed my nerves. The lighting wasn't too dim to feel creepy. The music isn't anything to throw off the mood of relaxation. I really love that I decided to come here. It's been a good 8 hrs since my massage and I haven't felt an ache. I will be back!

I like firm pressure, and she had no problem whatsoever bringing that to the table. She was intuitive and committed to relieving the significant tension in my neck and shoulder. I found her through the great reviews on Google maps, and her website was incredibly professional and easy to book with. I tried the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage for the first time, and I really enjoyed it! It was nice to have areas worked that are normally skipped with Swedish and other types of massages. And that's not all... I used to go to a couple of different franchises as a member, and House of Harmony is so much better! I was greeted with aromatherapy right when I walked in, and she continued to use it throughout the session. Camilla doesn't skimp on the aromatherapy OR the water - she gave me a bottle instead of one of those little paper cups! The center strikes a great balance of homey & professional, with lovely lights, artwork, and decor that gives it personality vs the more cold and sterile atmosphere at the franchises. The linens on the massage table were heavenly. Also, her membership packages are reasonably priced, and very flexible. She didn't try to sell me on them either - I brought them up to her. There isn't that feeling of pressure to get a membership or buy products that the other places have. That said, I was happy to get a membership and can't wait for my next appointment!

For the first 20 minutes, she focused almost entirely on my head, repeating the same movement over and over. Then she moved to my feet and was basically tickling them. I had to ask her to stop and instead use deep pressure on my lower legs. At that point, I wanted to end the massage, but I kept thinking it might get better. Unfortunately, it didn't. When she worked on my back, she mostly used her elbow. I finally asked her, as politely as I could, to please stop because it wasn't relaxing. She didn't understand me, so she had to get the person at the front desk to translate. The massage therapist wasn't very skillful and seemed to be all over the place. I've never had a massage where I couldn't wait for it to be over. The $80 was definitely not worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're specifically looking for an elbow-focused massage.
