She did a number of assessments and then adjusted me with chiropractic instruments I wasn't at all familiar with (I'd never been to a chiro before - I thought it was all cracking and twisting), but which helped significantly. I worked with Dr. Amy over the next few weeks, and saw significant improvement. She also referred me to an excellent massage therapist when she felt that she had taken me as far as she could, and thought I'd benefit from massage. Since then we've discussed vitamin supplements, functional medicine, and other health issues and solutions. She is warm, personable, flexible, and available by text. Most of all, she is focused on the human body in an integrative way that I feel many MDs are not.

After the initial consultation (do not hide anything from your past and answer any question Daniela asks you), she was able to choose the right homeopathic remedy for me. I too had similar thoughts when I first walked into Elaine's office as it is probably the polar opposite of walking into a PT office at say NU Hospital. I also waited a bit longer than I had imagined as Elaine was finishing up with another patient. However, minor grievances aside, I must say that Elaine is by far the best and most thorough doctor I have ever seen. She is also HIGHLY intelligent and EXTREMELY precise when it comes to her diagnosis. I may have lucked out being the last patient of the day but she spent no less than 90 minutes examining and treating me. 90 MINUTES!!! A typical visit with an MD lasts 20 minutes, and that's if you're lucky. Chiros can be even worse as I'm sure many of you know. Notice how the last reviewer said it took 3 hours for her exam... well, even with 2 other patients, that's still unheard of as I'm sure she was just as thorough with her. Elaine is a true holistic practitioner. She practices muscle testing, traction, acupuncture, hypnosis, nutrition, and the list goes on... Believe you me, she will not let you out of her office until she is able to treat you successfully. If you can get past some small gripes (mainly her unorthodox and slightly cluttered office) you will be handsomely rewarded with good and honest treatment. And isn't that the name of the game anyway? Personally, I've had enough of doctors with fancy offices and perky assistants, only to get the obligatory "snap, crackle, pop" routine... If you're looking for a good, honest, and THOROUGH D.C who actually cares about your health and well being then do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with this woman. My advise would be to try and get the last appointment of the day, thereby avoiding the scenario illustrated by the previous reviewer.

Despite this, she still managed to grope my partner's butt without consent.

Everyday things, like pouring coffee or picking up my phone, were suddenly a struggle. Dr. Ryan Dooley was a game changer. Right away, he listened--really listened--to my story and took the time to explain what was going on with my hand. He set up a therapy plan that was tailored to my situation and always adapted it based on how I was doing and what I felt. The sessions with Dr. Dooley weren't easy, but they made a difference. He showed me how to move safely, shared practical tips to avoid aggravating my wrist, and introduced exercises that gradually started to work. There were days when progress felt slow, but Dr. Dooley encouraged me at every step and celebrated the little wins--like the first time I managed to twist open a door or pick up something heavier than a mug. His care and expertise genuinely helped me get better. Superior Physical Therapy feels like a place where people care about your recovery and treat you as an individual, not just another patient. If you're dealing with a tough injury, especially something as challenging and frustrating as de Quervain's, I can't recommend Dr. Dooley enough. Thanks to his help, I'm back to my normal routine and feeling confident in my hand again.
