It's like a model car oriented toy store with two slot car race tracks in the back. You rent a car or bring your own. It's definitely fun for all ages. It's a good value too at $5 for your 15 minute track time. The Zepplin crew were friendly and helpful. Our 4 year olds had no issue with the operation of the controls. Came here to get a Traxxas radio control car. This would be a first "hobby grade" car for us (although I was looking for an entry level one) after getting a few cheaper Amazon ones, so I wanted to buy in store to be able to discuss with some knowledgeable. Came to this place after seeing some good reviews. I initially sent an inquiry via Facebook (before opening hours) and received a quick response, so great customer service. They have a large variety of Traxxas cars at various price points. It took me a few minutes to be able to speak to someone because they were busy, but wasn't too bad. And the guy who helped me did spend time explaining everything well in laymans terms, so that was appreciated. It didn't seem like he was trying to upsell either, which was nice. They also work on the RC cars and have a program where you can upgrade the motor at a discount. So I'll consider returning to take advantage of that at some point. read more

Me and my son love this hobby shop. Usually walk in when passing by just to race the tracks in the back of the store. For $4 you get a car, controller, and 15 minutes of track time. Two different style tracks to choose from makes this a lot of fun. They offer kids multiple track dates and times, where kids compete in time races on both tracks. Kids are able to buy parts and assemble their own cars making each one custom, some faster, more handling and cool colors. Me and the boy also have a remote controlled truck by traxxas, purchased from Lou. Lou helped me pick out something simple and a lot of fun. We also beat this thing up and being simple makes it easy for myself, a novice, to fix. I purchased my parts from here and usually bring the truck to ask any questions. Everyone in the shop has knowledge about all of their products. This place is full of cool stuff, that no matter your age, there is something in there to put a smile on the face. Store is supposed to be open until 6pm according to the sign on the door. It's 5:40 And the place is dark!! My son had purchased a model car and came back to buy paint and we had plenty of time if they closed according to their website and front door. Disappointing. Found exactly what we needed at Michaels Craft store and the same model car for much less. Considering my son used his allowance to pay for this car, I wish we would have bought it at Michaels instead. read more

This is a hobby store. Despite the internet and despite video games, it lives on. I'm thankful for that, because it's awesome. The aisle space is not huge, which is good - because they saved all the room for two giant 1/24 scale "commercial" slot-car tracks in the back! We had just stopped by to browse, no idea those tracks were there - I was thrilled that any slob like myself can rent time and cars on them for $4 per 15 min. They rent different speed cars, and skill-levels vary based on slot position - so even my 4 yr-old could easily race without wiping-out on every turn. They were really fun! Even though I'm not currently into one particular hobby, the shop aisles themselves seem well-stocked, and not overly focused on one thing. A good starting place for any hobby focus it seems. The model rockets had one complete aisle to themselves, which I thought was impressive. They also had RC vehicles, slot car sets, chemistry/science kits, microscopes, and Airsoft guns. Hobby stores like this seem a rarity these days. I'm glad to have found Zeppelin Hobbies, its so fun - my inner child wants to splurge here all day, and I think my actual 4 yr-old child would agree! read more

This place is amazing. Awesome service, a full variety of ANY of your hobby needs. They have so many common Rc car (Traxxas, Axial, HPI, Losi etc) parts in stock as well as RTRs and kits of all shapes and styles (planes, choppers, quadcopters too!). I've been to several other Hobby/RC shops in the area and this is my new go-to. Absolutely no complaints. Lou, the owner, has helped me with weird hardware problems, electronics troubleshooting and is a cool guy to just talk to. I'm basically just an Rc/modeling enthusiast but they stock all types of craft stuff too. AND they have 2 awesome slot car tracks inside. Can't say enough about this place. Stopped in for a couple things for a traxxas bandit. Great service guy helping me was obviously into it, had everything I needed in stock and I grabbed some other stuff while I was there. From what I saw they seemed to have a great selection of rc car stuff , a wall filled with traxxas parts so lucky me! Seems to be known for the crazy slot car tracks in the back , Fair prices, good friendly patient service what more could you ask for Btw I first called hobby hut as I'm not from around here and they were closer , even know their website shows traxxas , they were useless on the phone as if I was bothering them almost ... No parts whatsoever , zzz REALLY but was told they might be getting in a bandit in a couple weeks but didn't know the price, WTF??No need for another hobby shop when this Zeppelin place is Awesome! I much prefer supporting the small businesses and hopefully this place stays around a long while ! read more
