I saw this on the Instagram and I immediately got curious about it. I booked a session on the bucketlisters and arrived here in a weekend afternoon. They offer some snacks and tea before your session, there are lockers and even sandals to use. Unfortunately, they didn't have big sizes so I had to use a whatever biggest one I was able to find (I think it was 10 for men). The instructor was great, the session was on the intense side and I definitely got all the muscles to work. I'm putting 3 starts simply because it's a night club and the floors are the issue. For entire session I had a feeling that it's dirty and my feet and hands were all black after touching it. If they can solve that by covering it with something that would ideal. Until then only 3, sorry

I tried "immersive yoga" for the very first time ever and loved the experience! The studio is clean with lockers, indoor slippers and mats provided for. That said, the studio does not have showers. They also offer hot herbal tea for consumption throughout your time at their location. I went for the Autumn Yoga Nidra session. The visuals all over the space were trippy and the binaural beats added to a restorative ambience. The class was split between 30 minutes of a Yoga workout followed by 30 minutes of Yoga nidra practice. I left the session relaxed and grateful for having discovered this place. I'll definitely be returning for another session very soon!

It's now one of my favorite spots in the city. The concept is new, the visuals, the tea and at times wine bring the community feeling beyond just a yoga class. I've gone to MG, Sarah and Gianni's class and they all KILL it! Very unique' totally worth it!

When I stumbled upon images of the classes at Temple Immersive online a few weeks back, I felt an irresistible pull to journey from New York to San Francisco to immerse myself in such a distinctive yoga environment--and I'm thrilled that I did! From the moment I entered the reception area, the scent of white Sage incense greeted me, immediately soothing my nervous system. The inviting seating areas and the array of complimentary snacks and beverages available before and after class were details that set Temple Immersive apart from any other yoga experience I've encountered. It was a truly delightful experience! Stepping into the studio space felt like gazing into the cosmos itself (see photo). It's hard to find words that do justice to the beauty, serenity, and inspiration conveyed by the audiovisual elements. When combined with the expertise of the instructors and the diverse range of class offerings, attending multiple sessions at Temple Immersive becomes an irresistible proposition. Last Sunday, I had the privilege of participating in two classes: the vibrant Vinyasa Flow accompanied by a live DJ, and Yin Yoga with the incredible Savy. Not only were mats, blocks, meditation pillows, and blankets provided, but they were also meticulously arranged in advance, awaiting our arrival. The meticulous attention to detail, the warmth and friendliness of the staff, the diverse class options, the expertise of the instructors, and the breathtaking audiovisual elements collectively contribute to Temple Immersive's uniquely immersive and captivating atmosphere. I absolutely adored my experience and am eagerly hoping to return for Savy's Lunar Ceremony on 4/25!

When I went on a Sunday afternoon, there were quite a few people there to talk or work on their laptops. The entire time I was at the studio and after, I felt like the staff was hounding me to commit to a membership. While I get that it's normal for fitness studios to reach out for post-class feedback, Ritual Hot Yoga exhausted my patience with their incessant texts and emails. I was literally getting spammed with notifications. Apart from the incompetent administrative staff, the class was delivered at such a rapid pace using esoteric jargon rather than industry standard terminology that I could not keep up and transition quickly enough, and the instructor failed to check on me throughout class. Also, since the room was really dark, it was difficult to see and copy others' movements, and the instructor walked around and often stood at the back of the room instead of demonstrating the movements at the front of the class. Worst class ever. I left Ritual Hot Yoga feeling like I hadn't worked out at all despite it being a hot class, so I immediately went to the gym afterwords to get in an actual workout. Ritual Hot Yoga wasted both my time and money. I will never return and have de-influenced my friends from coming here.

Not sure what the other classes are like but this was taught by Rick, like an ashtanga style class for 60 minutes and a few of the hardest moves removed. Yes, it's hot and it feels good. Yes you feel like you're going to die. But you'll feel so alive afterwards. Rick is a great teacher and provider clearly and timely guidance. A plus is the lush garden view in the window. If I come to SF, this is a must. I didn't bring yoga mat due to traveling, I recommend to bring a towel to sweat on. They have changing rooms and they also have 1 bathroom but no showers so be ready to baby wipe your self if you have work afterwards or go home to shower because you will be hot and sweaty after. That said, I wasn't a big fan of the carpeted floors, as they don't seem the easiest to keep clean. My biggest takeaway, though, is that the class didn't really feel like Pilates. To me, Pilates is more about slow, controlled movements, intentional engagement, and strength-focused work. This class felt more like a series of random movements that didn't align much with that style. It leaned heavily into cardio, felt repetitive at times, and wasn't very engaging. It was also extremely hot, and there was a noticeable, somewhat unpleasant smell in the room.
