He also suggested an improvement to add facia to the home to help preserve the roof rafters. Michael was a super good communicator letting me know when the work would be done. He properly arranged for city permit and inspection. His crew was great - clearly knowledgeable and so respectful of my gardens. They did a great job - you could see how well everyone worked together to get the job done and they really did a nice job of cleanup before leaving the site.

This was done before I purchased the home but emails with the company and city workers confirm that this was their responsibility to maintain for one year. During a rainstorm, water from the flooded street spiraled down the sinkhole and came up out the other end through the concrete they laid in my basement, rapidly filling my basement with 5 inches of murky water. The City of Minneapolis called this a disaster and PULLED THEIR PERMITS. The company has repeatedly said that water does not flow upwards and is refusing to cooperate with me. Someone please educate this plumbing company about water pressure. Do not hire. Go with a mature professional that will take responsibility for their work and not compromise your home.

After looking at our attic they recommended removing all our insulation, sealing the attic space with foam and adding new cellulose insulation.. They were knowledgeable and professional in their evaluation of our ice dam issues and so we put our trust in their expertise. They weren't the least expensive but we wanted it done right. They were prompt. They were also very conscience of cleanliness in the house. They got all the work done as expected. I would recommend this company. They also expressed that they stand behind their work and if we have issues they will return to fix them

They were the only company that was…read morewilling to actually try to work with us to get the roof replaced by insurance where other companies were 50/50 on whether the damage was "enough" to get a claim filed. After coming out and looking at the roof they said for sure it would be a claim and worked to get it pushed through. Day of the job they came out and were very efficient in the work they did, even when they had to get some new plywood to fill in areas on the roof where the previous roofers had not filled the sheathing all the way to the facia boards which created a slight delay but they were still able to get the whole roof done in the course of one day. After they left we found a couple nails here and there (which is to be expected) and thought their clean up was excellent when you think of how many thousands of nails they had to pull from the previous roof they were replacing. Very happy with the work they have done and the extra leg they went working with the insurance side of things to get our nearly 30 year old 3 tab roof replaced with very nice looking upgraded and updated IKO architectural shingles.

I recently needed to replace my roof due to hail damage. Finding a competent and honest contractor…read morecan be challenging. Based upon a recommendation, I decided to use ARK Construction. To me, one of the hallmarks of a good contractor is good communication. This is often a skill that is lacking. The owner, Todd LIndgren, always answered my texts, calls, and emails promptly and kept me informed about my project. This alone, makes him stand out in the contractor world. The project was completed in one day, not long after I signed the contract. This too is a rare circumstance in the roofing world. I was very happy with the work done and that Todd came to the worksite to check on the progress during and after the roof installation. When he noticed that a rain diverter had not been added (as discussed), he had someone come back and add the missing diverter the next day. I recommend ARK based on my experience and felt that they did a quality job, promptly, and at a good price. They worked with my insurance company to iron out any price discrepancies and I value their honesty, promptness, and attention to detail.
