I had been looking for place with Reiki, holistic, Ayurveda and bowl singing for a while - I'm…read morethrilled to have found Nicole/ Maya Devi !! My energy is depleted by all the horrible events happened and still going on in this 21st century, the losses in my life and having autoimmune issues. The moment we met we hugged 'hello' and felt very much at ease with each other; her place is tranquil and positive and I felt calmer immediately. She took the time to get to know me a bit more than just the chaotic vibrations I was bringing to her :) so she could better understand my current needs. I had one of the most regenerative hours than I had felt in ages, and after the session we talked some about other healings she practices and that I'm excited to try, and I know will be so helpful in grounding me and letting me be more calm, serene than in a long, long time. I hope others will find her and gain an invaluable experience as mine was !!

I was so drawn to the space. Now, after years of Reiki healing, Full moon and New moon meditations, learning Reiki myself, many a late night just sharing and connecting with Maya Devi (Nicole), I am honored to speak of the safe community Nicole has created out of true LOVE! "It takes a village" and together, I know "we" collectively, created to environment but Nicole has been humble enough, throughout the years to keep the space available and ready. Always with a warm welcome. I find soulful nourishment every time I'm at RTV. It's truly a healing, love and growing space. I WILL follow wherever the universe sends RTV and we will continue this beautiful journey. Thank you Nicole. RTV and the community. All available because of your love of healing. First off, I absolutely LOVE yoga here and LOVE the staff. While the studio itself promotes a calm…read moreand welcoming atmosphere, my experience is constantly impacted by interactions with a staff member, Amy. Yoga spaces are typically rooted in kindness, mindfulness, and approachability, so it is disappointing to encounter communication or the lack of, that feels unwelcoming. This is not a once in a while experience, this happens every time I visit the studio. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to interact with her before entering my class as my vibe is completely shifted. She's short, she seems extremely irritated, she seems as though she would like to be anywhere but there, she does not smile, when you ask questions she makes you feel stupid, and when someone says thank you or have a good day she flat out ignores you. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to better align staff interactions with the values the studio represents, especially someone sitting at the front desk. If this is the behavior the studio knowingly allows, I may have to cancel my 3 year long membership.

Great yoga school. Though I will admit, I decided not to complete the program. I signed up for the…read morefirst module as a way to integrate the physical and metaphysical experience over the past several years. I came in knowing nothing of yoga at all (in the physical practice of it). I did feel a little as if it was about the whole program rather than acknowledging some of us really are there to deepen our own practices. I believe it was the first class that we were writing letters for when we completed the program... this had me feel it was necessary to enroll in more than I had intended. The instructor was great, the classmates were great, but... I certainly felt it wasn't for basic entry level yoga, beginners. However, maybe it was just me? I decided to pull out while I was still able and deepen my own practice on my own. As for yoga classes, in 1 hr intervals? I have to admit, I have no experience beyond attending the program itself, since it is a yoga school.

BE AWARE. This review is based on my personal experience as of August 2021. It is my opinion that…read moreis a religiously-based. money-seeking organization. IF TM is a valid practice, the "Director" Pratima, of the Scottsdale location provided extremely poor representation of this company. She claims to be a practitioner of sorts, yet demonstrated lack of professionalism and cultural sensitivity toward my own culture and beliefs. She also minimized my loss-related grief and felt entitled to call me "selfish" for verbally expressing my current emotional pain. TM is supposedly a meditation practice that has been "proven" to help destress, yet it seemed to have impaired her dealings with me. I call that HYPOCRACY. She was impatient and belittling toward me in front of a peer. She made provisions for my peer and allowed her to "make-up" a class via Zoom when she was absent. Pratima obligated me to come in-person for the class and I was not allowed the same courtesy although I had advised her that I was in incredible emotional and physical pain. I call that FAVORITISM. I was also obligated to view videos of the founder "Maharishi Mahesh Yogi." With the limited information I received about this individual, my perception quickly became that he was their religious leader. When I expressed any difference of opinion from hers, I was met with aggressive communication and was insulted. I was asked to shell out a significant amount of money to learn "the basics." They provided minimal information, pretty, colorful Power Point Presentations full of hearsay. When I asked to learn more scientific information the Director advised me their famous "advanced techniques" would be an additional cost (of course). They did not advise me of this upfront. After FOUR sessions, I felt I had been swept into some kind of money scheme. When requesting a refund (after FOUR SESSIONS), Pratima advised me that I did "not qualify" for one. I believe that such "practitioners" should practice what they preach. I don't feel this individual did, based on her horrible treatment of me. Never again. Learned my lesson. I don't recommend at all. RUN.

Highly recommend, TM has changed my life. There is no way I would be able to function in my high…read morestress job without the TM technique. Also, Andrew is one of the best teachers. Ask for Andrew if you get the option when you come in to learn the technique.
