Every girl is skeptical about walking into a new salon. I know I always am. But I needed to find another nail shop that would take care of me the way I wanted them to. Meaning, listen to what I'm asking for on how I want my nails to look. Most places just don't care. My previous nail shop I used to go to was so much closer to me but after it was bought out my a new owner & had new employees, the quality was just not the same. Totally upsetting. Anyways. I yelped this place out and just took another chance. Seeing and reading reviews on here helped me decide to just bring myself here and see what they're all about. Let me tell you... She did such an awesome job and listened to how I wanted my nails to look. Shape and color. Also had the best customer service by getting to know me. And everyone else around. Love this place! My friend and I were here for work from out of state and I broke my nail. Called the place and they were able to fit me in as last client for a fill/fix and pedicure (they ended up didn't get to leave until close to 9PM). They were super nice and friendly. This is beyond sad and pathetic when an owner of a company has the audacity to say they called and tried reaching out to me. You are lying and I will make sure people are aware of this poor service and ownership. Horrible work that any skilled nail tech should never give a paying customer. The paying customer isn't happy with the sloppy work by your salon then you refund them especially after seeing the photos yet instead you want to call me a liar when in fact you are lying about reaching out. Sweetie god bless you and instead of ripping people off with horrible work and customer service do the right thing and train your employees instead of playing with children and stopping your job repeatedly. So bring each other up by taking accountability by your terrible services. read more

First time at Zen, and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. The place is very clean and relaxing. Excellent service, and very friendly and attentive staff. Trish was the one who did the gel manicure for me, she was very attentive to details, I was undecided between two colors and she took the time to put on the two colors for me to choose, the nail polish looks very nice and natural. I have been coming to this wonderful nail spa for 3 years and no words could express the divine experience I have every time I come here :) Trish and Tiffany will make sure you are treated like royalty and leave feeling like a Queen. I never have an issue with scheduling and never have to wait when I arrive. I have been to multiple salons in the valley and none compare to the personalized experience I receive here. I made an appointment a week ago to get a manicure prior to an evening event. Unfortunately they took a walk-in prior to me, ignoring the fact I had an appointment. They had my phone number, so they could have called me to let me know they wouldn't be able to see me till 30 minutes after the fact, but they didn't. Poor customer service I would say, so they lost a customer. read more

My friend recommended this place so I decided to try it. I made an appointment at 11 am for 2 pm and were able to schedule me. I got there at 2 pm and waited 20 minutes before I was seated. They were very apologetic and were able to squeeze me in so not a big deal. I got a deluxe gel pedicure and have to say it was worth $60. I did leave not really liking the color I chose but still enjoyed the experience. read more

I'm new to the area and was looking to yelp for a nail technician and let me say, Zen's definitely deserves the stars it has, if not more! I was in this mood to hurry up and get my nails done and messaged a few places. Zen got back to me right away and was like "can you come in now?" YUP! I was there in 5-10 min, and taken care of right away! Trish was my technician and I LOOOVE her. She was on top of it all while also taking care of me and never missed a beat! I decided to dip instead of gel and I am loving it. Trish explained the difference and without her being so knowledgeable, I would've been fiddling with my nails alllll day. (Dip is thinner than gel. Feels more natural.) I got set up with the pedi right away as well. I didn't catch that lady's name, but she did a fabulous job as well! IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A NAIL SALON, THIS IS THE ONE. Okay I love this place. I've been to many nail salons in Vegas, none of them had everything I was looking for. Walking in, I loved the atmosphere. It was very modern & it was very clean. I did end up waiting for about 30 minutes, but I did walk in when all the technicians were busy. I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't mind. I noticed how family oriented these owners are. It seemed as if all the workers were related & they had their kids running around. Family businesses seem to be more welcoming & every one was extremely friendly. I was given water & a snack. One of the owners went to grab pizza & came in offering some to absolutely everyone. It was very kind. Not many people are like that anymore. You can tell these owners are absolutely genuine. I felt very comfortable being there, which was awesome because most places have made me feel very uncomfortable, by completely ignoring me. My nails came out sooo good. I got a gel manicure, which I haven't gotten one in months. So watching my technician clean my cuticles was sooooo satisfying. He was quick but he did a great job. The gel doesn't look too thick even though my nails are short & also, the gel isn't bumpy which is a huge plus because anywhere I've gone, there was always a few nails that were bumpy. I paid $35 for my gel mani. Which is average for most places. They have a point system. You get a point for every $1 you spend. & once you reach 200 points, you get $10 off on your next visit. They also do raffles, I'm not sure how often, but I believe they put your name in every time you come in. I'm not sure what the prizes are, but still really cool. It's very obvious that they pride themselves on customer service. They do everything they can to make their customers happy. I will definitely be returning when I need another mani. read more

None of that happened. Instead the focus was entirely on selling a package (no single sessions available) starting around $1,800 for skin lightening alone. When I mentioned the price was significant, I was immediately asked if I had Care Credit not given any context about the treatment or its value. When I said I needed to think about it, the consultant did not open the door for me, and no one acknowledged me as I left. For services involving sensitive areas and significant cost, you deserve transparency about who is treating you, what they're doing, and why. I didn't get any of that here.

This place is great! They took over lucky nail salon and Google maps still says that's what is there so don't get confused. I got there at 6:45 and they close at 7 so I felt bad, but they were super nice about it. Even though I got there so late Trish took her time and my nails are perfection! They also offer complimentary snacks and drinks and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I got the dip polish they have a ton of color options for it. It will run you about 45 dollars and if you want a shape other than square it's an extra 5, but right now they are offering a 20% discount so go check them out! :) oh and you get a message with it :) read more

Being a mother of four young kids it's hard to have peace and quite at the house. The only time I can rest is by going to Zen Nails Spa to get a deluxe pedicure & manicure. The staff are knowledgeable and professional at what they do. No matter who I get I know it will be done right. Trish and Tiffany has been doing nails for a long time and they can just look at my polish and tell you the name of the polish. I would recommend this place to anybody who want to get a way from home or work and want to be pamper. I found them on yelp and Google. I can't wait for it to be friday for me to get pamper again. read more

These ladies took their popularity and ran with it. Now this place is just another piece of garbage with a money hungry owner and below standard operators. They charged me $75 for what started out a $40 set of tips. Plus $5 to remove my polish and prepare the nails. Wtheck? Another $5 to shape the tips. Excuse me?? And, not once were these charges brought to my attention until I was at the register, nails a damn mess from an inexperienced technician, being charged a fee for needing to use my credit card. .. I won't be back. Atmosphere doesn't get you another swipe of my Visa. read more

Really relaxing, and welcoming environment. They have so many manicure & pedicure options that is nice. I went with the jelly pedicure and was so in love with the full service. The massage was amazing. They do a really detailed job with making sure my pedicure was absolutely amazing. I did gel polish as well. My mom got a full set with gel as well. She did oval which was done really well. Really clean stations. They even offer drinks and snacks while you get your service. read more

They charged $98 for a fill - 2 nail fixed- French tip and 3 beads on each nail. Just because the father decided to take his daughter in for a special treat they didn't mind to over charge cause they think men know nothing better. He even tip $15 over that price which I would never tip read more

This nail shop it pretty and the staff are app so juce and friendly. Trish did my nails and she was amazing. I didn't expect the hand massage at the end or the 10% off. Not to mention my nails look fantastic! I'll most definitely be back. read more

I had a party of 4 (it was my MIL birthday), but was only allowed to book 3 pedis at the same time (I booked 2 days in advance). On the day of, I got there 1hr before my party with hopes to get MY (only 1 person) pedi done before the rest of my party. I was told there was no availability (nobody else was getting a pedi). My sister in law arrived 10-15min prior to our appointment and she offered to get a mani and even a facial for our appointment time, in hopes to have everyone serviced somehow. We were told they had no availability for no service. She ended up leaving to get a pedi somewhere else. Since I had waited, I had looked at all the different pedis they had available. I was excited for getting one of their special ones. At the time of our appointment, they told us (3 people) to sit for our pedis. I was given a book to pick a color and asked if I wanted gel or regular. That's pretty much it. At no time was I asked if I wanted their basic or one of their specialty pedis- same thing was for the other 2 people with me. We weren't even asked if we wanted any add-ons besides getting gel or regular nail polish. No need to say we would NOT be returning to this place. Yes the place is cute as far as decoration, but customer service was horrible. FYI- I was asked to book the 4th pedi after my first appointment which didn't work for anyone due to childcare and 3 people waiting - then on the day when asking for other available services, we were told it was 2-3hrs after our appointment. Also- while we did our 1hr pedi (which is normal time), we saw 2 other people come in for pedi. Soooo my 4th person couldn't get an appointment not even 30min after? Just a plain no.

I've been looking for a place that provides quality pedicures at a reflective price. In the past I've had some mediocre pedicures at Casino salons that cost a great deal. I've also experienced the cheap but seriously painful pedicures at the numerous Asian "Chop Shops". One actually left me nursing ingrown toenails for months. Therefore I was very cautious about trying Desert Beauty Lab. The receptionist on the phone immediately alleviated my concerns, informing me that their nail technicians are true professionals, who care about the look, quality, AND health of my nails. I booked my first pedicure and have had wonderful experiences with each person. Due to being an equestrian and an RN, I don't get manicures unless it's a special occasion. However, when the next opportunity for one presents itself, I will absolutely be booking it at Desert Beauty Lab. As a quick post script, I appreciate how this salon values my time. All of my appointments have begun promptly, except for one. The receptionist told me that my nail technician was running a little over and would be with me shortly. The nail technician apologized for the delay (the person before me was a new client) and thanked me for my patience. That is exactly how delays should be treated!! Things happen, but just keep the client waiting informed, apologize for the delay and thank them for their patience.
