Let me start off by saying the girl in the front was SUPER friendly. And if you're looking for a quiet place to get a pedicure and relax, this is it. Also she did a great job on my nails, the color looks great and very smooth. Here's where I'm conflicted on a few things. I was reading through the packages and decided to upgrade to the golden collagen package because I wanted the 15 hot stone massage for my poor feet. It was MAYBE 5 minutes at best, my appointment was at 3:30 and I was out of there by 4:15 including removing gel polish and a full gel set. So I just feel like the upgrade wasn't worth it. Also, she never asked about the length of my nails and just kind of went with it and honestly, they're too long. I would've asked for them to be shorter but by the time I realized she didn't ask, we had moved on to the paint portion of the pedi. So overall the salon is cute, I just don't know that the service I got was worth the price. read more

I went here twice in less than a week. Once with my two kids and we all got pedicures. Everything was great and staff was super friendly. I had gel polish on my toes and the lady drilled off all the gel plus my some of my own nail and I had to say multiple times it was hot and at one point I jerked the last time and almost bursted into tears in front of my kids. She said she was sorry and was gentle after. She said that she felt bad and if I came back she would do my manicure for me. The toes came out even/not bulky and were really cute. I said okay and tipped 15% for three gel pedis and kept it pushing. (Over $160 on pedicures). Well I happen to be passing by and thought I would stop by a few days later to get the same color on my fingers another salon didn't have the same color. She was there and she remembered me. But another girl (with a ton of makeup on, didn't catch her name) said she was gonna do it for me.... Big Mistake. This woman told me I need hard gel overlay to stabilize my nail because it's weak (from all the grinding she did taking off my Gel X nails to my regular nails). I have gotten hard gel overlay and love the look so I said okay. She pulls out builder gel and puts a lumpy coat on it and cures it. I said is this hard gel overlay ? She says yes and I said this isn't the hard gel overlay I've ever had and I start to look and it's lumpy and that I don't want to put polish on top of it. She grabs a buffer and starts aggressively buffing my nails and doesn't say anything. Puts a gel polish base demands me to put in light and then color on top without asking if it looked better and when I tried to talk to her about if she meant builder or hard gel because there was a price difference and different techniques. she just kept saying builder and hard gel are the same. When I asked the price difference she said it's $60 not including the manicure and $5 for builder. I said that's fine I'll pay for the builder since that is what she gave me. She starts to demand me around to go in and out of light again, so I would rush and wouldn't look at them and vibes were off. I immediately knew I was gonna take my loss on the $69 gel manicure after $5 tip. This salon has completely ruined my view on shops. I was treated nicely until I wanted it done right, then I'm the problem. I would rather go to a licensed person that is independent than at a shop like this.This is not a $70 nail job. I'm not really sure what is happening at Sun Nails. I have been going there for almost 3 years. I have taken my husband and daughter multiple times, and I go fairly often. We were out of town for about 9 months and each of my visits since returning has been consistently disappointing. On a positive note, they still give very good pedicures as far as the time they spend, the products they use, and the care they give in getting rid of callouses. That's why I gave them 2 stars. When it comes to nails, there have been issues with the quality of work and the quality/age of the product. From being cut to the point of bleeding more than once, to over-filing my nails with the Dremel tool, to really bad/old product, something is not right. The last time I went, my toenail paint was lumpy and bumpy, the gel the girl used on my nails was at the bottom of the bottle. She fought with it and it was goopy and clumpy. She finally got a new bottle, but by the time she was done the nails were way too thick and still lumpy. I went again Wednesday because my husband wanted a pedicure and he's had good pedicures there. I thought, I'll give them another try, but again, my toe nail paint is lumpy and not leveled out. My husband has a cut on his toe that is tender and swollen. I'm thankful that I decided after arriving not to let them do my fingernails on this visit. We won't be going back, but I felt the need to warn people that this place is not as good as it once was. read more

There's never a long wait even though they do get very busy at times. Today Linh did my pedicure. She's great, takes her time and her massages are wonderful! I love how she has my toes looking super cute! A new tech, Elaf, did my nails today and omg, she was amazing! She truly listened to my wants & needs and gave me exactly what I asked for and more. After asking Lynn multiple times to please shorten and make them less stiletto and more round she continued to ignore me. You can see in one of the pictures one of my nails is completely misshaped. After I asked her to fix it she filed a small amount and then start painting without asking if it looked good. She tempted in the picture posted and after I realize it was not her talent I asked her to please keep them plain. Ignoring me multiple times she tried again and again each time being worse than the last. I'm so very disappointed in nail spa, will not be returning. read more

I would come here a million more times for Nancy. She did my pedicure and it was the best. She has such a calming energy about her. Even though she was wearing a mask, her demeanor was so kind and caring. She really took her time and made sure my feet looked great! On a different note. I think it's really important to point this out. I remember years ago, channel 13 did a news report on nail salons cutting corners and using cheap liquid monomer, which is the liquid used to mix with the powder for acrylic nails, and customers came forward reporting burning, itching, damaged skin, and thought they were having allergic reactions. Its been banned by the Nevada board of cosmetology to use this cheaper monomer called MMA. Only a safe monomer called EMA is allowed to be used however salons continue to use methyl-methacrylate (mma) to save money. Customers would never know because they look almost identical in color. I was having my acrylics placed on my left hand and my pinky and ring finger felt like someone had lit a lighter under them. It was genuinely painful so I spoke up and Lani sprayed something on my nail to cool it. She continued with the rest of my fingers but I noticed she spoke up to either the owner or management - I'm not sure - and she finished my left hand with each finger burning on fire like the one before. At this point she went and grabbed a different liquid monomer to proceed with my right hand. I felt no pain at all this time! Not even a sting! So take that as you will but I think that's a clear indication of something inappropriate going on. My nails DO look pretty though! $132 later. Be sure to utilize the 15% off! They seem like great people and great nail artists but there's a few things on the business side that could be done better for the customer. read more

So to start this off, I have came here in the past before and gotten my nails done by Jenny. She did a really good job and I really think she was very sweet. I tried to make an appointment again to see her, but she puts me off on another person after I show up. And she has done this to my best friend many times before in the past, and she always complains about it to me. My best friend gets so annoyed, but she always comes back to this place because it is so close to her house. The last time she was there though I don't think she wants to come back again. I didn't think it was a big deal for me so I tried out the person that she told me to go to named Kimberly. I went there about eight days ago on February 13. Got my nails done and it cost me $95 for a set with stones. Which I thought was kind of high cost for what I got. I also got a pedicure too, but it seems like they were trying to convince me to go for shellac instead of the regular polish I was trying to go for. I did the normal polish because I had acrylic on my big toes and needed it to be filled, which cost $10 more and I also need French so that cost $5 more which would've cost $45 for my pedicure alone but of course then she wanted to charge me $5 extra for taking off the original shellac that I had so I end up paying $50. I do not wanna pay for shellac $25 more and pay $75 for a pedicure so that is why I chose to have a normal polish and paid $50. Anyways, eight days later, my stones on my nails started changing colors. I think since the stones were silvery color. The silver color rubbed off and revealed a colorful stone underneath. I started seeing red, yellow, green, blue and black color underneath all the stones. Mind you I only want it one color stone for all my nails as I do not like colorful stuff. I came in today to get it fixed because the stone they use on me was horrible. I've never seen stones start deteriorating and changing colors like that. I came here, thinking that they were not going to charge me to fix some thing that was out of my control. At least if they did they should've told me this prior to doing my nails. They used low quality stones on my nails that deteriorated. This time around I started seeing that there is actual clear stones available because I was not going to have the same silver stones put back on just for it to rub off and turn colors again in a couple days. Kimberly wanted to charge me $15 after she was done with my nails. I was very shocked that she wanted to charge me more money for the fact that the stones that she used on me was rubbing off and changing colors. She said that if I chose the same stone again, they wouldn't charge me extra but since I chose the clear stone is why she wanted to charge me more. Why in the world would I choose to have the same stones put on to have the same result of colorful nails in a couple days?!?! This really pissed me off but I did not make a scene or anything and I basically told her this was the last time I was coming to this place as I was not expecting to pay more for their fixing of my nails, because there are stones that they use on me started changing colors. Let me tell you Kimberly did not give a care at all. She tended to her next customer and moved along. When I left, nobody cared to say bye to me, or even ask if I was happy. This will be the last $15 this place will make off of me. This place will nickel and dime and try to charge any way possible to make you pay more money. I do not recommend this place to anyone to get their nails done. I really like the owner Jenny as she is very sweet but the way that I get treated by her coworkers is absurd and I'm very disappointed. I do not feel valued as a customer here. I would recommend people go elsewhere to get treated better. I had a horrible experience here and will not be returning. read more

I have been going to this nail spa for the past three years. I usually always get a regular pedicure. The service always has been great, especially with Lynn. She is always thorough with her work and gives the best massages. The end product after my service was always great, but not excellent. I'm not sure why but they always seem to have a hard time with calluses. My calluses on my heels were always semi-addressed. I didn't mind too much since the price of a regular pedicure are affordable. The past couple visits really help me make up my mind about coming back to this location to have my pedicure done. I had a pedicure with Nikki , and that was probably the worst pedicure I've ever had. She cut my cuticles so short it was so painful! I ended up having a staph infection because she cut my cuticles/skin around my nails so deep that it allowed me to have an infection. Also, I noticed not only her, but the other nail techs used tools that were not individually packaged. I am convinced now that these tools are not usually sterilize after every use. On top of that, I came back and specifically requested to have Lynn as my nail tech, but they had me with somebody else even though I had made an appointment with her. During my last pedicure, the nail tech pointed out that my other toenail had a fungal infection and that it was eventually going to come off. I've never had that issue until Nikki. With that being said, I won't be going back to this location. read more

It was very easy to make an appointment and the shop is clean, the staff friendly. The first time I went for acrylic fills, I had no issues. They are priced higher than others, but I am willing to pay for quality. The second time was different. The morning after, I dried my hands and the polish peeled off one of my nails. In 30 years of getting my nails done, that's never happened. I went in and they fixed it. Within four days, the polish on three more nails started peeling off. I contacted them to let them know what was happening. They offered to fix the additional nails. My issue is that I thought I was paying for quality, but am very disappointed. I appreciate they will repair the nails (which they should), but I don't have the time or desire to go to the nail salon three times in less than a week. It's hugely inconvenient. read more

We had gone to another nail shop prior to this one, however, they couldn't take us on due to being busy at that point in time. They quoted me an hour wait time but they went out of their way to put me in a pedi chair to relax while I waited which wasn't long. Hands down one of the best nail places I have been in Vegas. We live a ways away but it's totally worth the drive. They always fit us in and aren't afraid to take last minute clients literally 45 minutes before closing. (Crappy of us I know, but it was just the one time). Had an awesome mint aromatherapy pedicure here today!! I have nothing but great things to say. The shop was clean and everyone was super nice and attentive. I made an appointment online the day before which they called to confirm. I arrived about 15 minutes early and we were able to get started right away. I asked them to do tiger stripes on my toenails and they weren't super confident but gave it a try anyway and they turned out awesome. My feet have never been softer.
