In my everything is connected to everything else mind, I thought that self important (yes, that is a value judgment) wingnut ought to spend some time in this excellent neurological rehab hospital in either the in patient or out patient section to observe human beings who are dealing with real life challenges, unlike his lettuce mix up. Please! Which led me to say as an outpatient here, I have had a progressive central nervous system disease since my college years and was in need of skilled physical therapy intervention to assist in some evolving challenges, that the staff is top notch at every step and the neuro PT trained expertise could not be better. Bravo and brava all around. And I'll bring this full circle to say something about the fact that there is a cafeteria here, 4th floor, in patient and outpatient care on 2nd floor, that is pretty darned decent for healthy food and has gluten free (alas, my current medical professional suggested mode) options too for rock bottom prices. (Of course I had to try it out. :-) ) PS...since this is in patient hospital they are continuing to be very COVID safe. This place truly changed my life…read more I came to Eagle Creek Ranch at the lowest point in my life desperate for help and ready for change. From day one I was welcomed with love by a staff that genuinely cared about me and met me exactly where I was. Today I'm almost one year sober and I owe so much of that to Eagle Creek Ranch. I came here hoping to get sober but I left with so much more. I left with a playbook for how to live a fulfilling life, a deeper sense of purpose, and a relationship with God that is stronger than it has ever been. My family and I will always be grateful for what Eagle Creek Ranch did for us during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. Please be careful when taking any prescribed supplements from him. I am 36 years old, active & healthy, and went in for pelvic congestion syndrome to avoid a hysterectomy. First appt I left with a supplement for my pancreas, adrenal glands, and GI tract...confused why these supplements were even suggested. After taking these supplements I developed upper thoracic back pain. I told him the next week about my pain & he adjusted my lower back assuming it was musculoskeletal (it was upper). The pain got worse as the week progressed to the point it felt like I had a blow to my back. I followed up with him at my third appointment and all the sudden he didn't seem as confident. I asked for blood work as this felt internal and worsened when I ate anything. I ended up in the ER because the pain was so bad and followed up with urgent care a few days later. Long story short, his supplements put so much stress on my liver and kidneys because they weren't needed. I now have to go in for blood work each week to see if my levels trend down. I am ALL for natural medicine, but I would steer clear from him. He never called to see how I was, never told me to stop the supplements he prescribed and never ordered labs unless I asked. If you do decide to go to him, check your levels before taking anything. This whole process is scary as it continues to unfold and the cause was from his prescribed supplements.
