He said that because I told him my dad had a colonoscopy like 4 months ago and it didn't show anything bad plus my dad doesn't have any stomach pain. We decided not to do it but if my dad have any pain will come back. I really like the Dr Tim, he was nice, and took his time to explained everything I asked him, so I recommend him. The staff also wears gloves when handling bodily fluids or when touching patients. There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between patients. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is small. Many times, the parking lot will be full. I just park at Walgreens and walk over. Or, you can park in the massive parking lot with the supermarket across the street and walk over. You have plenty of options. Don't worry. The medical office itself is extremely clean, neat, tidy, and organized. Staff: The receptionists here are very quick, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr. Tim Chen himself is fricken funny, knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

Then finally, in the end she suggests a SIBO test. I'm describing abnormalities--why aren't you suggesting all that you can think of to perhaps get a lay of the land? To be preventative? It was all kind of pointless, like I said it was basically just a telehealth call to get a referral to labcorp to get labs done, which I won't do because I actually wouldn't trust her feedback or interpretation. If you can't get the actual doctor, go somewhere else. Terrible bedside manner. They were however more concerned about the message than the medical care needed, stating they always answer their phones. Being more concerned about addressing the not answering phones comment than the actual medical emergency really says a lot about the staff. And they really don't answer phones because not even the insurance company was able to get through to them. Guess I really touched a sore spot there. Dr. Hsu should consider getting new staff unless this is actually a representation of her as a professional. But I've never actually been able to see her so I can't speak on her as a doctor. Such a shame. Update: I called multiple times so yes I did leave a voicemail with my information. Not only did I spend all morning trying to get a hold of you, but my insurance company tried too. They were met with no response as well and were very concerned that they changed my PCP immediately. When I got a call back it was because I upset you and I was never asked what medical support I needed. I was met with a "we always answer our phone, what do you mean?" So of course I was upset because I finally get a call back and it's regarding my comment. By this point, I had already changed my PCP and got an appointment for my medical situation. So, yes, I no longer needed your services. Regardless, I hope you can do better by your current and future clients. If you are unable to met demands it might be time to hire more hands or get a better system. My experience doesn't need to be everyone else's.

They're extremely helpful and efficient and return phone calls when you need them to answer a question or concern. Her office is like a Beverly Hills office in that it's a beautiful office and you'll walk in looking for the Nordstrom's piano player. It's that nice and extremely clean. I've truly never had such a horrible experience with a doctor before in my life. I started seeing the Dr in August of 2024 and was in extreme pain - I had asked then for a SIBO test. I pushed and pushed but after months of other testing (blood work, ultrasound, stool tests, colonoscopy, endoscopy) I was finally given a SIBO test. The company they did it with sent the doctor the entirely wrong test results and I had to be the one to call the company and get the correct test results which diagnosed me with SIBO. This happened in June of 2025. The doctor tried to tell me this was psychological. Overall, horrible care... I changed doctors finally and am receiving the care I finally need. Go elsewhere to someone who will listen and not go for a cash grab. Truly, the worst medical experience I've ever had.

Again the solution I want is for preventative purpose, not for current symptoms which are non-existent. It's important to me to get that preventative solution, to nick this problem in the bud. When Dr.Pan asked me about how my study plans went which I've only mentioned once two WEEKs ago, I was surprised. Dr.Pan truly did care and remember his patients, and it SHOWs. During the wait time, while I got to observe how he interacted with the other patients, without surprise, he greeted everyone with kindness, patients and staff, elder or young. Dr.Pan is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and he also speaks good amount of Spanish. He would greet the patients in their native tongue when the patients arrive, asked whether they've improved since last visit. and personally explained the post-procedure care and answer questions before patients were released. I've accompanied my mom to get her regular colonoscopy done at another health center earlier this year, and she was discharged with two sheets of paper without a word with the attending gastroenterologist, yet now I know whom to ask for in the future if anyone who have get GI problems that need to be well taken care of.
