I booked a package with an hour massage and a 90 minute float and came in. The massage alone was a great way to chill out, but soon it was time to head over to the float room. You put in earplugs and shower, then climb into the tank and float effortlessly. Soon, the music fades out, the lights turn off, and it's just you in your birthday suit in the tank. And here's where it gets kind of trippy. The first thing I noticed was hearing my heartbeat. That kind of freaked me out, so I started concentrating on breathing. That worked. I floated, I concentrated on my breaths, and pretty soon whatever stuff that was stressing me out was forgotten. Next thing I knew the music faded up and it was time to climb out. I'm sure I can find a place to float back home, and I'm sure I can find a place where I can book a massage and a float, but only here will you also find an art space where people are just creating stuff. These are things that should not fit together but they do. Just roll with it. It's zen.

I expressed to her that I was thinking about getting a massage as well, but had to be at work at 1pm. She suggested the Aquamassage they just got the day before, and MAN was she right! I did the 20 minute option which is equivalent to an hour long regular massage. Everyone was so accommodating and nice, if you're a local or here for a visit I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping by!

To be fair, MOST of the massage was great. I bought a Groupon and called 4x over more than a week…read morebefore I got an answer. I was getting worried I'd have to ask Groupon for a refund. Booked two weeks out. Again, MOST of it very nice. But when she massaged the edge of my heel with one hand for the span of two songs (background music) I honestly thought she was falling asleep. When I moved slightly she immediately resumed massaging with one hand and I heard something clunk down on the counter. Something like a phone. At the end she told me it was time to wake up, then said "you never went to sleep, did you?" When I dressed and stepped out, there was a phone with earbuds on the table by her office.
