I just had a steak and cheese Stromboli from Zedas and I am disappointed. There wasn't much meat and the bottom was very soggy. I wouldn't order that again. read more

Usually an excellent experience with Zedas. Today, though, they were out of what I'd ordered. To their credit they tried calling to tell me that they were out of what I'd ordered and were substituting. The potato skins were not fully baked, but the bacon and cheese toppings made them edible. Their fast service is always excellent. This is the first time we've ordered from there with any problems. Usually very excellent and always delivered promptly by friendly people. read more

I always go here for pizza I love it but tonight I ordered the Philly steak calzone with onions and peppers.... for starters the onions and peppers were very under cooked still crunchy the underneath was very wet and pasty the cheese was hardly melted will not be ordering this again read more

I would give it zero stars if I could, ordered the potato skin pizza. It had no sauce, they burnt the bacon, so I had a dry pizza that all I could taste was the burnt bacon. It really disappoints me that I bad more for a crappy ass pizza that was 17 bucks. The best part of the pizza was the crust. The only way to eat this was with ranch. I will never order this pizza again. read more

I love this place. Thank you for being a part of our community here in Athol. I placed an order today and added a note that I LOVE YOUR PITA BREAD. I went to pick up my order and I heard the young lady reading it to the owner and she smiled while reading it and that melted my heart. What a lovely employee. Within a few minutes after leaving I got home and within minutes the owner came over to deliver a bag of fresh hot pita bread to me. Words cant describe how they went above and beyond with such a humble means. THATS COMMUNITY PEOPLE!!! Thank you for your service!! read more

Ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo pizza. Was absolutely the best I have had around here. So happy!!!! I am so glad we tried this place again now that they have a new owner. read more

Zedas - a slice of pizza with cheese and broccoli - Pizza Near Me - Athol, Massachusetts

We are staying at the executive inn here and the operator at Zedas told us exactly how to find a menu online. After seeing their creative menu we called back and with an order for a small family it came out to 24$! The pizzas is absolutely perfect too. Update: I'm not sure what they changed in the past year with those burnt pics but round two with these guys and it's just as perfect. The quality of the ingredients is obvious in every bite read more

My family buys from Zedas quite often and the experience is usually good. Tonight however was unbelievable. My dad ordered a large, and a small pizza. When he got there it hadn't even been started. He had to wait 25 minutes after dealing with the girl's attitude at the counter. Then they give him 2 smalls. He informs the girl one was suppose to be a large ..she throws the pizzas on the counter and storms off. The manager comes out, my dad says he will just take his money back he doesn't have anymore time to wait. The manager tells him no and proceeds to remake the pizza. The pizza we got was falling apart because it was under done, and the toppings were barely cooked. On top of all that he still charged my dad for the food ... read more

I love pizza but health conditions prevent me from any cholesterol ingredients (you know them as meat and cheese) and that's 99% of all pizzas. Tonight, New Years Eve, 2017, I decided to take a pizza to a gathering. I ordered a small veggie pizza with cheese only on one half. I received a pizza cooked just right with crispy, chewy outer crust of great flavor and texture, nicely browned overall, the toppings were fresh ingredients, the cheese half was hot and bubbling, and the aroma was wonderful. People with my health concerns make up 7% of the population and I can point them all to Zedas for a delicious pizza - a quest they will have had a hard time finding in the past. Happy New Year! read more

Worst pizza place in Athol, hands down. I'm honestly not sure how they are even still open. Pizza is always burnt and the subs are always sloppily made. Go anywhere else...just stay away from here. read more

So far the food I ordered from Zedas was delicious and the people who have delivered the food to my home are always respectful . Keep up the good work Zedas and employees ! I will absolutely be ordering more food from Zedas . read more

So I just recently heard from a little bird that Zedas in Athol is currently under re-training the staff. They apparently sent someone from the Gardner Zedas to overhaul the staff's way of working. I am going to order once a week from Athol's Zedas, and writing my updated view of the quality of food. I updated this rating from 2's to 3's, purely because the owner acknowledged there is a problem, and he is making adjustments in his weak areas and keeping his good employees who are just lost in training. Remember: my review still stands! The employees must learn time management. Until they do, the food quality will gravely suffer. Why do we keep going back if it's so terrible, you ask. We go back because when the employees try, when they do things right 100%, you will notice: Zedas is, in fact, the best Pizza house ever! When Zedas first opened, my goodness! The food is amazing! The chicken tenders are made from boneless chicken breast. You wouldn't know this, because once placed in the Styrofoam container, the moisture from its delicious goodness turns the amazing crispy chicken tenders into mushy soggy tenders. Here's a tip for Zedas: poke holes into the top of your containers! Let the steam and moisture out! HERE'S ANOTHER TIP FOR ZEDAS: offer salted french fries. Your fries are bland and quite flavorless. The pizza dough is hand made, and the pizzas are off the hook! Once again, when the issues are fixed completely, I will definitely upgrade my rating to 5's! read more

Ordered on line. Was delivered pretty quickly but part of our order missing. I called and was asked if I wanted to go pick it up. No. I paid YOU to deliver it. Told them they can credit my card. Was told they can't credit me because I ordered on line. Paid $11 for a grinder with a single layer of meat. Ordered a salad that had a huge pile of partially cooked bacon on it. Will never order there again. read more

3 orders 3 mistakes I'm done. Zeda's has incompetent staff that do not bother to repeat your phone order, so they consistently send you home with the wrong items. I gave them the benefit of my doubts that they didn't mean to make mistakes but after 3 wrong well, strikes, I gave up. My patience was further tested by speaking with the owner who is not anywhere near being friendly or apologetic for his poorly trained employees. read more

Ordered large veggie and house pizzas; $16.95@ rounded to $34.00 (with tax $36). At pick up was charged $41.49. I asked for toppings to go to the edge cause I didn't like dry crusty edge. Charged me extra. They asked me if I wanted thin or thick crust on the house pizza; said thick. Charged me extra; neither person taking order nor menu shows extra fee for thick crust. Over $41 for two large pizza. Tasted ok, but too expensive for two large pizza. See burned edges of photos already posted. read more

We ordered pizzas for a birthday party all were burned tasted aweful never again called about it and got the "thats just how it is" response... plenty of other places around don't waste your time here read more

I ordered from them on a regular basis... They have taken uo to 2 hours to deliver... the food has been delivered cold... they have delivered the wrong food... but last month $5 was added to my charge card after I had signed for it... I called... the owner wasn't in... spoke with a very nice woman... left my number for the owner to call me... never heard from him... done! read more

I'm a local and have eaten at Zedas for five years or so now. I have consistently been happy with the food and service. I have had that one off experience that wasn't great which is consistent with any business that does not claim to be perfect. I give Zedas five stars and encourage anyone who doesn't feel they got the best value for their dollar to speak with management. read more

Overall good food and consistent, delivery is quick and reasonable. for Athol is it good

We stopped in by chance and the pizza was really good. Some of the best crust I've tasted in years. It was heavy because they use good ingredients, two slices filled me up for the rest of the day :) read more

Good food. Nice dining room. Plenty of parking. Fast delivery. What more can you ask for honestly? 10/10 would recommend. read more

Whoever answered my call was very rude. Never stated what business they were or who they were when they picked up. They also laughed at me when I asked who it was. Just because of that one employee I am completely turned off from ordering there again. read more

Let me start off by saying that I do understand that it its a Friday night, however, from jump this has been a terrible experience. The gentleman taking our order was rude and curt trying to cut us off before we finished or got a total. We ordered for 7 people which ended up being around $70 for the meal. They delivered quickly, hence the second star, but they were missing one of the entrees. We called and were told another would be sent out shortly. Now its 30 minutes later and we have finally received the elusive quesadilla. The food was mediocre and clearly the service and experience were utterly unacceptable. This business is lucky it has no competition, for if it did, it would fail. read more

This is one of zades special pizzas. We sat outside and waited, after 20 minutes I went and asked if it was ready and they said no. So I said that we are right out the window so just wave when its ready and I will come and get it. So she came out and gave it to me and we got home and looked at this. I was starving and I took 1 bite and my son was so mad that he said lets bring it back. So I said I will call and see what they say. Mind you I don't live near there. They said did you eat any of it and I said yes a bite but it is disgusting. He said that I took a bite so they wouldn't take it back. They said that next time I get a pizza they would take 10% off. I said are you kidding me and he said I should have brought it back without eating any. Why would they give it to someone else the assholes. NEVER EVER GIVE THEM ANY BUSSINESSS AGAIN. $20.00 for this. Maybe it would be a nice thing to share people. They should never have given that to me and I was right outside the door for over 40 minutes waiting. I am not happy. I don't see anywhere to put a picture or I would. read more

Great tenders, great pizza, have yet to something I don't like. Delivery is reasonable and speedy. People are very polite.

We have tried Zedas quite a few times since they have opened in Athol. I will NEVER give them another chance again. The last straw was food poisoning from old coleslaw in my Ruben sandwich never mind the fact rubens are supposed to be made with sauerkraut and not coleslaw......... Their delivery time is so slow and they can never get an order right for the life of them. Never mind the rudeness factor of the staff. Save yourself sickness and aggravation and go to Athol House of Pizza read more

Awful! Took an hour to get a delivery, they forgot part of our order so had to wait an extra 45 mins for that

The delivery people are nice- that's about it. The food arrives soggy- and they pay no attention to the order requests. You get what you get should be the advertisement! Sloppy and hastily thrown together! Look elsewhere! read more

Ordered for delivery and after waiting an hour I called and they said its on its way. After 20 more minutes it finally showed and the sauce was spilt all inside the bag the food was in, saturating everything. The vegetables on the food were definitely past due and brown colored. Didn't even try any of the food. Not one to cause any issues, I ate the 20$ and chalked it up to a bad experience. Normally I'd give it a while and go back a few months later. This however was borderline unacceptable and will never go back. I wouldn't suggest going to Zedas in Athol. read more

If I could give negative stars I would was almost done with my slice and felt something in my mouth metal fantastic so happy I didn't break a tooth!! Call to tell them and they act like I'm lying and yell at me seriously you just lost 3 customers goodbye.... read more

PLEASE watch what happens during the finical part of your transaction here. We have gone to Zedas in Athol 5-6 times. Each time something happened when it came to the payment process! They forgot to give the change, they thought I only gave them a $20 when I gave a $50, they over charged by $12, they shorted me $5 when giving my change, they charged my card twice! The food was good 75% of the time.. Pineapple Bacon Pizza, Poppers, & Cheese Sticks, & Chicken Broccoli Alfredo.. Not worth risking my hard earned money here! read more

Great food, very reasonable portions and pricing, Clean dining room, nice employees, best in town especially if you want a huge menu with a lot of variety. They also deliver. read more

Inconsistent pricing for the same order in 2 weeks. $6 higher today?! Wtf?! Food is usually good. Gf pizza has a tendency to be undercooked.

Only go here if im not in the mood to go far from my house. They always seem to be out of so many things. Pizza is okay but not my favorite. Never had any issue with staff, always nice and fast. I do not do delivery but call it in and food is always ready and hot when picked up. foods okay but nothing great. read more

Having read the other reviews, I was kind of surprised. I ordered a large thick crust pizza in person, waited for it, and was very pleased with it, the crust was nice golden brown on the bottom and not overdone at all. I am happy with the service and the pizza. Will return again as long as the quality stays consistent. read more

Absolutely sick of the rude responses I get from here. Every time I call I'm getting rushed off the phone. I ask for something extra crispy it does not mean barely cook them. When I call and ask for them to be cooked again I get an attitude. Will never order from this place again just because of how they treat their customers. read more

so me and a few guys from work decide to splurge and order take out because we have a slow night. we ordered online which I thought was very convenient. I ordered a burger platter and they only sent the burger. I called and they told me I didn't order the platter just the burger. I was looking at my receipt on the computer and saw that I paid 11.95 for the burger platter. then they acted like it was my mistake and said they could give me a voucher for a small fry. I told them I didn't want a voucher I was at work and ordered the platter because I have a 12 hour shift and I was hungry not for another time. so they agreed to bring me my fries but said it was going to be longer than normal(which was an hour) because they were backed up. I said no its going to be longer than normal because you already have my money and now im an inconvenience to them. there was no apology or anything of the sort. also I asked for no tomatoes on my burger add peppers and I got it plain no lettuce peppers mayo nothing that was asked for. my co worker ordered a quesadilla with no jalapenos and guess what they were on it also. they worst customer service I have ever dealt with. they were rude and just acted as though I wasn't a priority at all and I will never be ordering from this place again. food was subpar I would way prefer friendly town or pizza factory or just about any other place around read more
