Zaya is hands down one of the BEST dining experiences in the RGV! From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is something special. If you're looking for incredible Indian Persian cuisine with unforgettable flavors, amazing cocktails, and top-tier service, this is it. First, let me just say: the cocktails are AMAZING. The Town of Byadgi and the Goa Cup are absolutely delicious. Don't even worry about what's in them just trust me and order them. You'll love every sip. Now for the food...WOW. I highly recommend the Ruby Chicken or the Steak Kali Mitch. The flavors literally explode in your mouth from the very first bite. It's such a unique experience compared to what we're usually used to here in the RGV, and although I know the menu can feel a little intimidating at first because it's just all so different--please don't let that scare you. Step outside your comfort zone because once you take that first bite, you'll be more than pleased. Beyond the incredible food, the service is absolutely top notch. Camille, our server/bartender, NEVER disappoints. She is the main reason we keep coming back and why we've become regulars. She's attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and always makes the experience feel special. Blas is also fantastic--always so attentive and full of great recommendations that never miss. And of course, you can't forget Misael, who manages the entire restaurant and somehow makes it all look so unbelievably effortless. He's constantly checking in, making sure every guest is having the best experience possible, and he's always quick with excellent recommendations of his own. The food was really good, normally Indian food in the valley is bad, however this place actually tastes like good Indian food. Also the ambiance is very nice. Als the servers were really nice but the food kinda took long. read more
