Lamb Korma with rice
Aaron B.

Ordered via Door dash. It was pretty good, no complaints. I ordered the Lamb Korma with extra rice and garlic naan. On door dash they are Hot Kurry Indian Dhaba for some reason. One portion is more than enough. I ate maybe half and I am stuffed. Good flavor, just wish the Korma sauce was a bit more thick. Definitely worth the money.

Dropped in for lunch and opted for the buffet. We were greeted and seated right away. We placed our drink order and headed to the buffet. The plates are located below the rice and soup. Most of the plates had stuff on them that probably fell from the top row, like rice or crumbs. Wasn't appealing so I grabbed the second one from the top. The rice comes from a giant rice cooker. Very communal. This day they also served tomato bisque soup. The buffet has a large variety of vegetarian and proteins. Lamb korma, mango chicken, chicken tikka masala, curry chicken, Chana masala, zera aloo, cabbage masala, veggie briyani, tandoori chicken, and a ground lamb and potato dish. There's also a salad bar, some desserts, chutney and raita. The spice levels vary in intensity depending on the dish you select. The lamb korma was definitely Indian spicy. The mango chicken was more sweet. Would recommend using the raita to help cool down the heat if needed. Buffet comes with naan. Next time I'll ask for no butter. It made the naan greasy, sweet and chewy. Not what I'm used to at all. Service was great. There were two servers and they checked on us often and made sure we had refills. The flavors were definitely great, but a lot of my favorites were not on the buffet, but able to be ordered on the menu. The potatoes were also under cooked. The tandoori chicken had been sitting out a while as my chicken was dry. For one, the name, kabob guys, I would expect kabobs on the buffet. Butter chicken, saag paneer, samosas, or chicken vindaloo. Those are my favorite dishes so I appreciate it when they're included in the buffet.

Butter Chicken, Baingan Bharta, and Garlic Naan.

I usually use Uber Eats. Orders are always correct. I've been out of the valley for a while now so it's nice to come back "home" and have good tasting Indian food. So far my favorite place.

Went in with a party of 6 on a Saturday night. My brother was raving about this place and their buffet. Most of us had never tasted Indian food before and that night we all agreed to give it a try. In my opinion everything was spicy, but everyone else didn't seem to think so. We had a fun little discussion about each of the items we picked from the buffet. We all had different opinions about what tasted good. Overall, buffet selection is small and nothing really tastes "out of this world" that'll keep you coming back.

Kabob Guys is located near Nolana and Col. Rowe intersection. It is a tiny place with cultural frames on their wall. Booths and single tables are available. They offer a menu or a $10.00 buffet. I experienced the buffet which offered a variety of options, some were noted as vegan. I enjoyed the tomato basil and chicken mango the most. Would come again on days that I need to eat quick. :)

Fantastic Food & Great Service! They make our runs to Costco so worth it! Fantastic Food for great price All staff are very courteous. Plus, kids under 4 eat free, any time, any day!

One of my favorite places to eat in the valley. The owner is so friendly and kind, really followed all the COVID-related rules to a high standard so it always feels clean and safe eating there. Great buffet, with vegan options too. Also deals on ordering entrees.

From bottom right to top left: vegan biryani, chickpeas, zera aloo, Rajma Masala

The food was like no other, the spices were perfectly balanced, and there was a variety of spicy and sweet foods. The service of the waiters were perfect. And there is some amazing mood lighting for the tables lol. Would definitely recommend this place for people trying Indian cuisine for the first time. They offer a 9.99 per person buffet, for sure got our moneys worth.

Plain naan was hot and flavorful!

Small cozy restaurant with great food for a great price. I love getting the buffet, so I can try everything.

Solid Indian fare. The buffet is where it's at, but they do à la carte if you like take out or delivery.

I'm so happy to come back and finally meet the super nice owner who warmly welcomed us and wanted to give us an amazing experience. The service was very fast and accommodating :) We ordered the beef nihari, butter chicken, chicken biryani, and naan. The complimentary chips and salsas/chutneys were given complimentary in the beginning and we loved how spicy some of them were. The owner gave us some extra dip as well! All the main dishes tasted authentic, as if they were made at home with love. I've been craving nihari for a long time and this one was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! It was creamy and hearty with the most tender pieces of boneless beef. The butter chicken was very flavorful and rich. The gravy was addicting to eat and that bowl was completely empty at the end of the night. The chicken biryani was great too! Each of the curries came with a bowl of white rice. I'll be coming back again and again and can't recommend this place enough for the best desi food in the valley!

What we didn't expect was the very high pricetag that came with our meal! Very small dining room with old school diner tables and booths. We were greeted upon entering, but from the kitchen as it's literally a mom and pop establishment. No front of the house staff. After a few minutes, the owner and cook came for our order. We got 2 delectable samosas as apps. Very crispy and savory. I ordered the chicken vindaloo and my girl the chicken curry. We asked for spicy+. The dishes didn't disappoint! Super flavorful and even though it didn't burn our mouths, we were definitely sweating and had clear sinuses! The garlic nan was very good, but could have used just a tad bit of salt to bring out the flavors. We also got the chicken nuggets and fries for a kids meal and even though the owner forgot about it, he quickly put that in and added extra nuggets. Again, food was great, but the prices don't really leave a desire to come back... Especially with a full buffet at University Market 5 minutes away! Our meal came out to $50!! I did the math and he definitely over charged about $5 at least, and I should have clarified that, but I just tipped 10% instead. Even if he hadn't done incorrect math, $45 for 2 medium sized entrees, 2 nan breads, 1 (complimentary?) rice, 1 kids meal, with 2 waters and a juice is way too much. I'd only go here again if the Indian craving hits super hard on a Sunday when University Market is closed.

I'm writing this review as I am waiting for service. And it's 12:30pm at noon. Horrible service. Walked out after I am done writing this review. 0.1 out of 5. Will not come again. Waste of time.
