This location cannot be considered "fast food!" I ordered a Zalad in their drive thru, and the store was not busy, after paying I was asked to join two other cars also waiting for their orders. Well, in a prior review I said management was incompetent. It has not improved. The Zensatonal Asian salad had enough lettuce cores in it to make me choke. The dressing had been put on it and I was given an absolutely unneeded package of dressing while I was already had been given more than I wanted on the salad. I love Zaxby's! The food has never disappointed me. The menu is full of great chicken selections. My go to is either the Big Zak Snax Meal or the Kickin Chicken Sandwich. This time I decided to go with the Kickin Chicken Sandwich. It's 3 original Zaxby's chicken fingers drizzled with ranch sauce and their tongue torch sauce on Texas Toast. The best Texas Toast you'll ever have! I know it seems basic, but it's good. The fries are always beyond good because of the seasoning they use. Oh and you must have the Zax sauce or you're not doing any meal from Zaxby's justice. Service was average, as I expected for a busy night after graduation. The employee taking orders was being trained so he moved slow. He couldn't remember orders and were not calling out orders to customers as they were ready. I'm just it was just a one-off experience. First I waited in line for a good 20 minutes finally order and they make me pull to a spot another 10 minutes goes by and they finally bring out my food. They forgot the sauce so another 5 minutes. This place opens at 10:30 am. I ordered via the drive thru at 11:07. My food was cold, as if it was reheated in dirty oil from the night before. The chicken was hard, and the fries were soft. I was very disappointed. The young lady who took my order was pleasant at first, while taking my order. When it came time for me to pick it up things changed. I'm more than certain that I had someone else's meal because everything that I ordered was not when I picked up I wanted no butter on my toast and of course I got a big greasy piece of toast I wanted to have a root beer for my drink and of course I got sweet tea and when I said this is not my drink she just says oh well we can't take that back as if you don't have garbage cans inside of your facility then I was just too pissed to say that I had a kids meal so I just went with what I had I was afraid to give the food back. Great for the price... When you have to feed 4 growing kids (and yourself), price tends to be an issue at times... 20 chicken tender pieces for $20 is certainly worth the price... And they just started selling BBQ sauce too! read more

It was good, and way better than Wingstop. You get a lot more chicken for your money. The side salads are good, and the staff service was good too. They bring the food out to your car when you order drive thru. The Wimpy (mild) wings, and the honey mustard wings were good, and each order came with dipping sauce and celery. The only cons were: the soda is like 70--80% ice. Make sure to ask for little or no ice because it's mostly ice. It's soda, not a slushy. When you order just wings, you can't get half and half like Wingstop. If you order 10 wings, they all have to be the same flavor. I recommend: Side salad, french fries, and the 5 or 10 piece Honey Mustard Wings. read more

Chicken joints are my favorite so it's no surprise that I had to try Zaxby's. This is my second time to Zaxby's but in a different state. The first time I went the chicken was old and dry and the side portions were lacking. However I was craving a Zensation salad so I decided to swing by. When I got to the drive thru and asked for the salad they told me they couldn't give me one since they ran out of chicken tenders. Wait a minute. A chicken chain that specializes in chicken tenders ran out of chicken tenders? Yes you heard me right. I was stunned. How can a food chain's motto claim to be "incredibly good" if it doesn't even have enough of its own product. I've been to a lot of chicken chains but this has been the most disappointing by far. I was already unimpressed by the poor performance of the Zaxby's in Concord N.C. and this experience sealed the deal. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you have a REAL chicken joint in your area please choose it over Zaxby's. read more

My friend picked up food for us here tonight and the staff proceeded to: get my order wrong, overcharge him (for a combo, not a sandwich as he ordered), tell him he had to drive back to get it fixed, tell him he ordered incorrectly, gossip loudly about his order in the kitchen (he could actually hear them through the drive through window) and hang up on us repeatedly when we called about it. It was an absolute mess. The General Manager of this store should be embarrassed about the conduct on his or her Friday night crew. read more

Based on food at Zaxbys it's 5 stars duh! Love the chicken and the tator chips and the salads are awesome just right portions. But this location is bleh. Not like the one in Georgia lol. My husband and I just love coming here for a small lunch to share. We either get the salad or good ol' chicken and fries. We are here Tuesday and it was such a pleasant experience. Interacted with several different employees and the manager and they all made me feel like a burden to them. I ordered a salad and asked to add buffalo sauce and they had to call the manager because it was "complicated". The manager then came and didn't say a word, she only gave me yes and no with head nods. After waiting 15 minutes the lady at the counter looked at my table from across the restaurant and held the Bag of food up. I walked over and took the food as she held it in the air and said thank you and the person at the counter didn't acknowledge me or even make eye contact with me. The food wasn't up to normal zaxbys standard. Avoid this location at all cost. read more
