It was my first time actually dining inside this location because logistics of our day. It was kinda dark vibes walking in. A lot of things on the counter but overall no biggy. Food was made fresh and hot it was a little early in the day but portion wise was good and so was taste. Service was quick she was friendly and repeated my order. There was no napkins on the table or any near by the bathroom did require a code to enter which was weird but I understand maybe because of the dynamic of the area. Sitting in the drive thru right now, next in line to the window...for nearly 20 minutes. Getting here took another 15 at least.Person working the drive thru hasn't even stepped to the window in that 20min. I could raise the chickens, process everything, and make my own chicken tenders faster. I could grow the grain for the Texas toast faster than this. I could fly to Africa and harvest the Kola nuts for the Coke Zero and fly back faster than this. I can see bags of food sitting next to the register, just getting cold as we wait. This is insane. Took 6 minutes for someone to actually acknowledge me. Dee gave the customer in front of me her order and then ignored me. Jackie finally asked had I placed an order. I replied and then started to and then she said it timed her out. She said Zion take her order. Thanks Zion. So the service just really wasn't great for that moment. It was to go order but it's cute in here. It's decorated for valentines.Got home opened my food and I'm like why does it smell like seafood. The quality has gone down a lot. There is a certain part of me that expects that I should not have to request to fry my wings a minute or 2 extra because a done chicken is a done chicken. I'm not asking for extra crispy, just make sure the chicken is cooked all the way through. I have ordered from here on multiple occasions and the chicken wings appear soft in texture with too much pull. If I had to explain it, the wings are pulled out the grease a little to early and now they are sitting and waiting to be sauced and that creates that soft pull texture to them because the internal part of the wing wasn't cooked all the way through. I'm not a chef but just my reasoning of trying to explain why is the wing like that here. But I go through this with Zaxby's because the quality is not consistent. I'll order for a little bit hoping they would get it right and then I will go in another hiatus. But for this location only, please request at least an extra minute on your wings. read more

2019 Yelp 120 Challenge - #87 I would strongly discourage you from visiting this Zaxby's location. We only visited this location because we got into town very late and this was the only thing open. There was a line all the way around the building and long line inside. I'm sure that the employees were busy that is why the building wasn't cleaned. The food did not deliver as well. We waited for at least 30 minutes for our food and everything was mediocre. We had a wonderful lunch here. Niyanah took our order. She was sweet, friendly, and efficient. We got our order quickly. Found a booth under some nostalgic decor. Husband got his drink from the huge Coke machine. They also had iced tea dispensers, and an ice/water dispenser. I used the latter. Husband liked his 4 Fling plate, especially the creamy cole slaw. Chicken and crinkle fries were tasty too. My grilled chicken salad was ample, fresh and delicious. Lots of chicken! Both came with Texas toast. Yummy! Nothing tasted like "fast food." The place looked clean. Inside and out. Prior comments about cleanliness must have been taken to heart. But the trash cans near the exit doors were full & they needed to be emptied. The women's bathroom was clean, but it had a defective soap dispenser. A single hand soap pump was available. Only one of two towel dispensers worked. The music was pleasant. Horrible quality. They care nothing about the customer. Management makes excuses for the lack of attention to how the food is prepared. Then the prices are going up, but the portions are getting smaller. Ridiculous!! This particular location has staffing issues. They just can't seem to get right. Been in line for 25 minutes. Was trying to figure out what the issue was. Well the lady in front of us got a family meal. Now common sense would have been to pull her up since she ordered a large amount of food , but they didn't. It was no way to back out or even pull of because we were boxed in. This was one of the most disgusting Zaxby's I have ever been too. It is so dirty the drink machine had soda surrounding the refill spout. it has been a while since they cleaned it. There was dust, dirt and food all over the window sills and in the seats. Food was under cooked . The seating closer to the restroom has a strong urine smell and the bathrooms looked like they haven't been cleaned in months. toilets were backed up and I know the employees see them but they avoided doing anything about it. I told the employees about the restroom because my son had to use it and came back and said it is so nasty in there there is poop and pee everywhere.
