After they collected your payment they made you drive around the building, pass the drive thru and back to their window before you got your food. Probably to help with their "timely" order received. Even though it was late in the evening I wanted a fresh salad after a long day so I stopped by this Zaxby's and boy was it a mistake!!! I ordered two Zenation zalads which are back for the second year. They are deliciously made with an Asian flavor to them accompanied by a vegetable eggroll. After going to the drive thru window and paying almost $23 dollars for the two salads, I was asked to pull ahead and wait by a blue sign. I waited there for about 7 minutes until the young woman at the drive thru came walking up to my car to tell me that they were out of grilled chicken and would I like crunchy chicken for both salads. I said ok and patiently waited for another 10 minutes before the salads were given to me. I checked the bags before pulling off only to find that they did not give me the eggrolls that were supposed to come with the zalad! When I asked about them I was told "we don't have anymore eggrolls!" I asked what else would they give me in place of the eggrolls and they said nothing! I asked about chicken tenders or something in place of the eggrolls and they agreed to give me two chicken tenders which BTW were tiny, hard and inedible and the salad was thrown together and discussing! A waste of my money! The night crew was a sad excuse for this establishment, and it the manager was on site they should be demoted for the condition and attitudes of their staff! This is legitly the worst Zaxbys. I would give negative stars if I could...zero stars is still too much credit. Today, they said their drive-thru "wasn't working." We made a quick roadside stop for lunch. Dining room was open, and appropiately distanced, but we got food inside and ate in the car since it was a nice day. Food came fast...I got a Blackened Blue Salad. It was great! Large, with good greens, tasty blue cheese, seasoned chicken, pretty good tomatoes, and other good veggies and toppings. My wife got a grilled chicken sandwich. Nice, plump piece of chicken, and typical toppings. She enjoyed it. I got a soft drink and it was good, but very heavy on the ice-we were on the road and it was gone pretty quickly, but if I was still there, they do offer refills. Came here real quick for lunch because we were on the road for vacation. The staff is friendly and the bathroom is clean. Ordering was a breeze but it did take a while to get our food. Tried going through the drive thru around 8:45 on a Friday night and sat for 10 minutes and no one helped, while people were inside. Tried giving it another shot on the wayback up to Charlotte and at 7pm on a Sunday the doors are locked with people inside eating and yet again someone at the drive thru speaker sitting and waiting. If the inside is closed, which it shouldn't be if there are already customers in there, then it needs to be posted on the door. Of course I love the Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings in Richburg. This Zaxbys is a great place to eat for all chicken related cuisine when you are hungry and in need of some good chicken in a short amount of time. It conveniently located off of Interstate 77 and is very easy to get to and get in and out and be on your way on the interstate with some quality food. The service is very fast here for a Zaxby's and everyone works very hard to get your food as quick as possible and everyone here seems very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and efficient. I had a really good experience here and will remember it if I am traveling through here again and experience a need for some chicken. read more

Dining room is never open. Drive through only. The wait in drive through at ordering mic is 10 minutes.Food wait is 5 min at window. Food is old. I bit into my bread and it was so chewy I couldn't eat it. The slaw was bad and the chicken fingers were cold same as the fries and chewy with brick crust. Never again! I'm on the fence about if I would still recommend Zaxby's I've been in the area for 10 years. I remember when the food was not over cooked recently the chicken is fried so hard it's dry. I'm not sure if it's fried hard or so it's from the day before you used to get celery, chicken, french fries and ranch dressing. They stopped giving the salary but the price didn't go down. Zaxby's in Richburg would always be my favorite fast food restaurant however over the course of this year it has definitely gone to become one of the worst restaurants. I asked for a refund to which I was told it would be "a while" till the manager could come out. 15 minutes later I got the comment card asked for the mangers name (Hawthorne) & made it clear that I am walking out with neither the food or a refund and that it's no way to run a business.
