My husband has a serious Zaxby's problem. We don't have it back home (in AZ) and we're in this region for work right now. I made the mistake(?) of ordering him a salad ONE TIME a little over a month ago and now if he's given the chance to visit a Zaxby's wherever we are, he'll go. We ate here twice during a 4-day stay in the Deatsville area. That should tell you something. Ha. Anyway, both times I got a salad, one time he did too, but the other he got tenders. The salad, or "Zalad" was good, but lacked lettuce. I was actually wondering if maybe there was a shortage or outbreak we didn't know about and they were short on lettuce. Anyway, it was good. i ordered a house salad. It didn't have the fried onions and the tomatoes and cucumbers were not fresh. When you call the restaurant, the prompt tells you if your order isn't right bring it back. I have worked all day and the last thing I won't to do is go back out to take food back because someone didn't take pride in their service. Had I called before I ordered, I never would have ordered, the recording alone speaks volumes to your customer service! Last visit for sure! read more

We love Zaxby's, but this was not a good experience. Or even a fair experience. The restaurant was dirty, especially the bathrooms. The servers literally did not speak to me at the counter. I gave them my name and indicated that I had an app order. The server turned away, looked at the bag with my name on it, and walked away without a word! Maybe a new person? The food was very over salted and we ended up throwing a big portion of it away, which we never do. We thought the milk shake would be a redeeming item, but ended up throwing that away too! Here we go. Stay away from this place. It has to be bad management. This place was not this bad years ago. Let's start with the visit today. It's raining and we wanted to stop by. The person who took my order was short and is that all 4 different times. I hate that. Is that all? Is that all? Who the crap trains these people? After placing the order we pull around and see someone pulled forward already passed the window. It's raining! Why have them pull forward when it's raining! It's raining! People love to roll down their window and get wet for fast food that's cold. So we pull up to the window pay and get drinks and he asked me to pull forward. I said someone is already there. I can wait here till they move forward then I can. He said no you need to pull forward some. I rolled up my window and another lady came out and said you need to pull forward to get off my clock. No one is behind me might I add. The people in front of me pull off though I wanted to sit there I pulled up in the rain. Within a few minutes we get our food and have to ask for our kids drink. I love to receive food in the rain! Horrible service! The food was cold and the teriyaki chicken was not but a few bites. One of the worst drive thru experience I have ever had. Website said open until 10pm. At 9:07, the doors were locked and they wouldn't answer the drive thru. Either update website hours (if you close at 9) or stay open until 10. We just wasted 15 minutes. read more

I love Zaxby's! It is much better than Raising Cane's and it makes me memories of going here in 2017. When I went here in 2017 the chicken was really good and their sauce was to die for! Their fries of course were great. They had a lot of options for drinks unlike Cane's and they are just as fast as Cane's. So all you road travelers come here if you want good chicken read more

Closes dining room at 8 but lets you online order at 8 (for inside pickup) then you have to wait in long lines that is going incredibly slow. We got here at 8 on the dot and have been sitting in the line. It is now 8:23 and we are a couple cars behind. read more

This was fine. I mean, it's fast food. I am from the Chicago area and see these commercials during sporting events and was interested when driving thru Alabama. It is not cheap and the buffalo sauce was kind of different. The kids grilled cheese was amazing. The cheese curds were also good, but the chicken fingers didnt blow me away. And, the meal was $30 for 4 (2 kids meals included), so I expected more for that price. read more
