The drive thru was very busy so we went inside. The inside dining area, self service drink station and restrooms were very clean & well stocked. The employee who took my order was not rude, but did seem irritated that I went to the counter to order instead of using the kiosk. Just not very welcoming. The food came up in a reasonable time. It was very hot, fresh & order was correct. Ok experience. I would probably stop again when traveling.

SERVICE: I understand that a few of the employees are high school students, but they need to learn to talk to customers with respect. Having a bad attitude, making faces, and having ZERO sense of urgency is just sad. If it weren't for the ONE polite employee, this review would have only been 2 stars- I think they know who they are- keep up the good work! FOOD: The BBQ chicken basket is my go-to usually, so I was disappointed: The "toast" was not even toasted and the onion rings were flavorless. For the price, I expected better. But, beyond the expected hamburgers and a great selection of shakes, they have chicken 'n' waffles, fried shrimp, and other dishes. Everything is indeed fast food yet at the same time tastes homemade. My shrimp were good though a bit too salty for my liking, the waffle fries fine, the bread roll (really? not hushpuppies?) ok if weird to me to include in a seafood basket. Their house MotLee's Sauce is certainly the sauce to ask for, by the way. All in all, a good, economical choice for fast food plus to support something local and unique.

I got ranch and the Motlee sauce for my chicken and both were excellent, the ranch is def homemade. We'll be back around the next time we head in or out on I-10, although it's only 30 minutes from where I live in Jax, so we might make the drive just for dinner one night.

When my food was ready, I went and drove home to eat. Going home to eat was the smartest thing I did, because there were no napkins in the bag! The breading on the chicken was dark brown. My initial reaction was they burned the chicken in the deep fryer. I opened the sandwich and bit the chicken and it was actually tender. So I put the sandwich back together and ate it.
