Alex and company have taken care of some stumps in our yard twice and took care of trimming our…read moretrees, as well. Each time we've reached out, Alex is quick to respond and always arrives as planned. I'm more impressed each time! He's a real pro and takes pride in his work. He's also a very nice and kind person and consistently goes the extra mile. Especially impressive when I noticed he took the time to cover our new fence so the stump grinding didn't make a mess...nice touch and very thoughtful. It shows he knows his work and pays attention to details. He took care not to let any falling branches affect our fencing while he trimmed our trees, too! My neighbors have commented on how nice our trees look and we couldn't be happier with the service! The price is fair and these people earn every cent with their efforts! Thanks to you guys!!

UPDATE: Ocampo's eventually responded to the project request that they could not provide the…read moreservice, but only after I posted my review. Upping stars to 3 for not ghosting entirely, but should not have taken a negative review to get a response. I provided a detailed project specification to this vendor 7 days ago--which is an attractive company given that they are covered by the Yelp Guarantee. They are stated to have an average 10 minute response time with a 65% response rate. Seven days later, I've heard nothing. So I'm either in the 35% of their non-responses or I'm an outlier in their turnaround timeframe. I wish I had better things to say since this is an unfortunate lone wolf one star rating in a sea of five stars for this company, but "real people, real reviews" is the rule.

The last straw was when they blew all of the pollen from our yard into our neighbors...so embarrassing. Of course, they denied it. This really upset our neighbor and rightfully so. Yesterday, they came to clean the yard and left branches in the front yard. I picked them up and placed them neatly, so they would not even have to do that. Just so that they could be sadly found where I left them. Then they asked if I could check the cameras...because they swear they cleaned everything in the front yard. I placed the branches there myself and refuse to be lied to. You will be communicating with their son, who will let you know when they will be coming to service your yard. He texts "Hey, we are cleaning your yard." I have often paid extra to be a good citizen and show appreciation. After they made my neighbors upset at us and then left the front yard with all the branches, I fired them.

If that was the case, the professional thing to do would be to message me on Saturday, letting me know that he wasn't going to be able to make it and offering an alternate time. Pathetic.
