Why I am a fan of Uniqlo? Well I have to say its their quality and price. I noticed every mall in…read moreHK has a Uniqlo. So came here to see if there are any winter cloths. Yes! I know why am I looking for winter cloths in March. In USA, they are still selling winter cloths in March because the weather is still cold. So not to my surprise, the store decor looks the same as any other Uniqlo. Staff here are friendly. So you do get service. They say Thank-you for come to Uniqlo nonstop. Yes I mean non-stop. The season stock rotates quite fast here. All the cloths are for spring or summer. I didn't find what I want. But I still enjoy shopping here. I asked someone there and they did make an effort to look for me. So thumbs up to that.

Uniqlo is a Japanese casual wear chain that has chains throughout Asia, Europe, Australia and U.S…read moreas well (mostly in SF, LA, NY, and Boston). This location was opened around April 2014, bigger than the previous location 5 minutes away. As a larger store, it carries items that may not be seen at smaller branches. Uniqlo offers simply designed, nice quality clothing for men, women and children, price is affordable but not cheap, unless you come across some really good sale, which does happen once in a while. They have a huge T shirt selection, both for men and women, often with designs from famous designers or popular cartoon figures, like Snoopy, Disney, Moomin. If you like T shirts it's dangerous... Overall, a fun and very comfortable place to shop at.

Global Work

Global Work is another Japanese fashion brand that has made it in HK. Their style is distinctly…read moreJapanese, but a little more toned down so you can expect less frills and other 'girly' touches. The Global Work at New Town Plaza spans two floors - the second and third floor - with the second floor being a lot more spacious. Global Work has got everything from men's fashion to women's to accessories to kids' stuff. The women's section is obviously larger - the stuff on the second floor is more formal and appropriate for work, whereas the third floor is a lot more casual. Accessories and kids' clothes are on the second floor too. The kids' clothes are pretty cute and are good quality too. As for accessories, they have jewelry, bags and shoes but in my opinion they're nothing too special. The women's clothes are decent, though I find that some of their tops are overly baggy and have really wide cuts. I notice that it's hard to come by a size small - most of what I see is in mediums and larges. They have a fair share of basics, like solid-colored tanks and t-shirts too. Prices here aren't cheap, but aren't too expensive either. Actually, prices here, and the styles too, are similar to Japanese fashion store Collect Point. The third floor is always much more packed than the second floor as there's just a lot more female clothes on the third floor. I don't understand why they don't spread it out more - the second floor is so much bigger and there's tons of empty spaces!
