This street is renowned among ex-pat mothers (I'm pretty sure the 'locals' love it too but I'm not connected to too many on Facebook) as a source of cheap and cheerful outfits for little girls who are going to grow out of anything before the next Disney movie comes out, and this is a good place to start. Of course keep your eye out for inappropriate, or just plain wrong (not always the same thing) English language on dresses and T-shirts - although lets face it, sometimes that's half the fun ... especially if they are going to be gifts. Don't for a second think you're safe on the 'shoe' side either! I only just managed to escape without purchasing a pair of pink Dora the Explorer sandals (with flashing lights in the soles). There's a pretty extensive range of children's footwear - boys and girls - on offer and at prices that mean you won't be for-going your daily coffee fix to fund a new pair when the little dear has outgrown their favourite Thomas the Tank Engine sneakers in a matter of weeks. I'm going to be heading back again when the current crop of shoes no longer fit - I just hope Dora and her disco lights have sold out.

Seriously, I walked in with my toddler securely attached to my back in her carrier - thankfully or goodness knows what we would have walked out with - and was almost thrown off balance by the violently excited jiggling that started going on. T-shirts, dresses, fans, clips, lunchboxes, Elsa costumes, hats, stickers, drink bottles, bags (of many, many shapes and descriptions), pencil cases, chopsticks, clocks, mugs .... OMG, you get my drift. The Disney merchandising empire spans the globe and product from all over the world seems to find itself in Hong Kong (the stickers I bought were Korean) so the range is truly vast - and terrifying - but prices are pretty good here. My suggestion; go and get your little darling a surprise (or two), but go alone or you may never get out alive.

We got about 10 items ranging from pants, a jacket, a few shirts and two sweaters. The second time we stopped in (two days later), the promotion ended however, there were discounts on certain items throughout the store. Not to mention the quality is excellent! This store has clothing for men, women and children. Also they have household items and stationary. The household items were a little expensive but of good quality as all of there items. However, this shopping centre gets intensely packed. We visited on a Monday, and it was still way too crowded inside. The combination of the heavy crowds and the unique spiral layout actually made me feel a bit dizzy while navigating the floors. On the plus side, there is a great variety of shopping options, from upscale retailers to trendy boutiques, along with a movie theater and plenty of standalone restaurants. That being said, the actual food court area felt surprisingly small for a mall of this scale. We ultimately didn't spend much time here because it was a bit overwhelming, and we preferred to walk around the vibrant open-air spots nearby in Mong Kok. It is worth a quick look for the design, but be prepared for major foot traffic.

For the most part, there are different styles of clothes on the different racks. They organized their clothes by color and the type of clothing, so white tops were on one rack, black bottoms were below, etc. Usually there are just one size, which they call "free size." Once you find something you like you have to tell the lady you want it so she can radio it in on the headset so she can bring you a brand new one that is still in the plastic package. I kind of like this concept because you know you are getting a brand new item to take home, one that doesn't have everyone's nasty oils on it. :P They also have a clearance section. If you thought you'd be overwhelmed with the main part of the store, just wait until you go to the clearance section! This is overwhelming..lots of clothes everywhere that's only organized by type like tops and bottoms. They also have accessories throughout the store like cute hats, handbags, wallets and jewelry. They have a very small shoe selection as well. When we went they had a promotion that if you spent over a certain amount you could get a free glass Tupperware! We spent over the amount and got it, but was too heavy to carry around to the other countries we were visiting so we left it with our cousin in HK. I thought that was a really cool promotion!
