I've passed by here a few times and always wanted to try this place. It's in the same plaza as the House of Cuban Flavor. I came on a Saturday and it was busy. I ordered a Large Pepperoni and it was $9. Same as Little Caesars but the pizza was much better. The Dough tasted fresh and was fluffier than a Little Caesars. They don't have personal pizzas, but if you order their pepperoni cheese bread, it's the same, but even a tiny bit bigger! You just have the sauce on the side! I also got some wings. They weren't as good as the pizza, but they were big, so I could over look it. Their ranch though... is salad ranch, so not great for wings. Here's the low down on Zappy's. I pasted by her after scooping up my daughter from Chula Vista High. She said she was hungry. So what is a father to do . I was already on third Ave and Palomar. And saw a young kid flashing a $5 pizza sign. So I drove up in the parking lot. Walked in to Zappy's pizza shop. Was greeted by the cashier. I ordered the $5 pizza and it was ready in less than 5 minutes. Long story short this pizza is better than little Caesars. Facility was clean employees were friendly.
