This review is specifically for men's shoes. The selection was just ok. There are way more women's shoes here and my wife loves the store. For men there is less to love. Mostly athletic shoes. Prices vary widely, but are certainly not bad. The service was fine too. There really are not people out helping or selling, but I prefer that. Just a person at the checkout. This store reminds me of a slightly upscale Shoe Station. Seemingly, thousands of pairs of shoes are on display and available to slip on your feet. Quite nicely, both shoes in the pair are available to try on. Another nice thing is that shoes from prior seasons might be in their inventory. Zappos Unboxed is a fun store to peruse. But definitely don't go there looking for any one thing in particular. I learned this lesson when I visited recently, shopping for white or silver sneakers. I came up empty handed regarding those, but did almost buy some nice loafers and sandals. The prices seemed reasonable too. And I did buy some pants for my son. Zappos Unboxed sells more clothes than I expected, and I found a couple of pairs that were perfect for my beanstalk of a kiddo, who goes through clothes sometimes faster than my credit card can keep up. And as noted on some other reviews, Zappos Unboxed (and the entire mall) open later than at least I expected, at 11 a.m. most days. So if you want to visit, plan accordingly. read more

Zappos unboxed is massive shoe store located in the mall st Mathews in Lousiville Kentucky. Zappos is a a homegrown factory that use to have "unboxed" sales on older shoes in the factory and have now stepped it up to a large retail store in a popular shopping district in the city. As mentioned this is a huge shoe store located in the mall. It has entrance from outside the mall and inside the mall as well. The decor here is very sleek and nice looking. Lots of sparkling lights. The shoes are unboxed meaning they are just different modes sitting in the shoe box. If they have your size then they have it. So it's not like a traditional shoe shop where a display is on a shelf and you look below it for sizes. Overall this a cool shop that I'm sure will do very well. Zappos has always been popular place for people to go bargain bunting For shoes. Now that they have a store front I can see that client list growing. read more

Need shoes? Be sure to check Zappos Unboxed before you shop anywhere else, you just may find what you are looking for at a fraction of the cost! The store is in the St. Matthews Mall, visible from the front entrance of the mall. I dropped by this store today just to check it out and I walked out with one pair of shoes and hubby walked out with two pair. Now if you knew my hubby, you would know that the price was right! The man NEVER shops for clothing/shoes until his current items are (embarrassingly) worn out. The shoes are in their boxes and arranged on racks by size, but not by type (sneakers, dress shoes, slippers). There are defined rows for women's sizes and men's sizes, and in addition a section for wide/narrow. There are also sections of accessories and clothing items. The store has multiple entrances with associates stationed at each door to greet you upon entering and ensure that you are wearing a mask. There is a large help desk in the front of the store as well as multiple associates walking the aisles offering assistance. Due to foot issues, I wear a particular brand of shoe and was unsure if they would even have them. A kind associate assured me that they did have them and even called into the back warehouse to see if there were any of my size that were a 'wide' in the warehouse. Most of the shoes that I looked at in the women's section were between 31 and 65 dollars. I saw Merrell, Nike, Keen, Vionic, New Balance, Vans, Adidas, and many, many more. Benches are available at the end of most rows to sit and try on shoes. The large checkout area is located in the center of the store and despite multiple people in line, the line moved very quickly. Be advised, there are absolutely no returns. Signs advising this are throughout the store and you are again reminded of this fact as you pay. I will definitely be a return shopper! read more

Wow! This new store is awesome and larger than I'd have imagined. Shoes are available for all members of the family, all sizes and most at 50% or more off (based on my shopping today). In addition to the shoes we saw accessories and clothing. I came in today for my 2 boys - both now have a bigger foot than me. Our goal was to find a pair of tennis shoes and a pair of non tennis shoes. Goal met! And my guys were so excited. Shopping in the men's section, most of what we looked at ranged from $30-50 but definitely came go beyond those price points. While we didn't need assistance, they had plenty of associates walking the floor helping customers and checkout was immediate when we walked to the line. An associate stood at the front door to greet people and answer questions. Hand sanitizer also available throughout the store and several benches to sit and try on shoes. We shopped so much for them that never made it to the women's section and I cannot wait to return. read more

Why pay an exorbitant price for shoes when you can bet them at a reduced cost at Zappos Unboxed in the St. Matthews Mall of Louisville. The store is well organized and the staff especially courteous and helpful. I bought two pair of shoes for less than the cost of one of them at a retail store. Be prepared to deal with the Mall traffic and parking situation. Patience will pay $$$$ off though. read more

All I did was try and ask a question and he wanted to get in my face and try to tell me what to do. You do not yell at a customer and you don't do that to someone with ptsd. I will start by saying I have shopped here dozens of times and have been one of their biggest fans since they opened. I have purchased numerous pairs of shoes and countless clothing items here of which I love. After my visit today, I do not plan to shop here again. I asked to try on one item. No associate was near the fitting room, so I went to the front to ask and they sent someone back. There was no other customers waiting for assistance to try on and all rooms were available. The associate showed me to a fitting room. I was shopping with my 8 month old child who was in his stroller. I kindly asked if there was a larger space for me to use. They said no. I asked about the ADA fitting room knowing it could accommodate the stroller. They said no again, but rang the manager. A manager then came to the fitting area. Mind you there is no one there but me and the associate and no one waiting. I kindly asked again if I could use the larger space because I was uncomfortable leaving him outside of the room alone (which no one should have to do). They said I did not have any requirements for the ADA room and that I could not use it. I asked what I was suppose to do with my child while I was to go into a smaller room where he could not fit. They did not have an answer. If a customer with a wheelchair needed the space, OF COURSE I would have waited for it or let them go first. But again, I was the only one in need of a room. I immediately decided I would not be purchasing anything or trying on today as I would not be leaving my child unattended in the center of a fitting space. If he was older or could sit up on his own, I would have felt comfortable taking him out of the stroller and placing him on the floor in the smaller room. As he cannot sit up on his own at this age, this was not an option for us. Overall, I'm beyond disappointed with the way we were treated today. As a company who proudly says they are accommodating to all really showed that was not the case today. Mothers with small children are not welcome here or accommodated in their space. read more

A couple of weeks ago I met a friend at the Shelbyville Road Mall on a rainy day to walk, shop, eat, see a movie and get a massage. Only store I bought anything goods in was Zappos. It was my first time there and I was impressed with the clothes selection. The dressing rooms were closed but they opened them up for me. I purchased 2 bathing suits and a nice pair of Capri pants for about $90. So excellent prices. Staff were friendly. Store and dressing rooms big, open bright and clean spaces. Really a great store to shop in. I always find at least one pair of shoes I like. There are some luxury brand sunglasses, jewelry, shoes, purses & other accessories available in glass cases. The clothes are nice also, but be sure to check that the dressing rooms are open before gathering clothes to try on. The last time I went, the rooms were closed for no apparent reason so I put the clothes back. All sales are final, so you really need to be certain of your purchases. read more

OMG I love this place!!!! Can easily put any of the other shoe stores out of business if you are looking for a bargain I grabbed a pair of nike running shoes for under $40 bucks in a mens 9.5 AND THEY DO MILITARY DISCOUNT! They also have this cute interactive projector thing for the kids and the staff are all very friendly. There is someone at every point of entry so you are greeted upon entering and leaving. It's a really cool store. From what I told these are all returns which maes sense because you dont really see much of the rolled up paper or silica gel in all of the shoes but they all still look feel and smell brand new and after all that IS what matters right? read more

Where has this place been all my life? I was in town visiting family and friends on a weekend getaway so I packed light. I'm glad I did. I left with 3 pairs of shoes and gladly paid the "additional bag fee" charged by the airlines on my return flight. read more
