H & M is an occasional shopping spot for me when I have time to slowly browse the racks. Most of the clothing isn't my style, or isn't my size, but occasionally I find a top in a fun print and at a decent price. I wouldn't describe the clothing at H & M as high quality so it makes me cautious to spend a lot of money on clothing here. However, the few pieces I've purchased have lasted a couple of years even with several washes. I'm guessing their target market likes to shop and switch outfits often, so investing in core pieces is a moot point. H & M is primarily for women but they do carry a small selection of men's clothing upstairs. read more

After reading through some of the reviews, I can see why some despise this location. I can't join in here because I love this store. I even prefer it to the newer outlet location. I find better deals at this store. As far as men's clothing, I can go here and always find an outfit that is affordable, comfortable, and fits my style. I don't wear many brands. I prefer to not have a logo spread across my chest or pants whenever possible. I'm not knocking it... it's just not me. H&M is one of the only trendy stores that give me that. A few of the things I love most about this location: Need a plain t-shirt? I can always find one in multiple colors for 6 bucks. Need a new pair of shorts(choose a color)? I can always find a plain pair of shorts in the 8-12 dollar range. Need a button-up or polo? That's covered but prices can range from something on sale at 10 dollars to varied prices all the way up to 40. You can definitely put together a nice outfit at H&M for an affordable price. I'm taking off one star for a couple of reasons. The first reason is for the dressing rooms. They have two dressing rooms upstairs. I wish there was a way to close the curtains more or hook them on something. I have an issue with it every time. You can close them most of the way but then you have this large mirror that easily exposes you to others waiting in line for you to finish. Extremely uncomfortable and I'm surprised that more people haven't complained about it. The only other issue I have is that it can be a toss-up on the length of the line and where you checkout. They have two checkout registers upstairs that are rarely open. With that, everyone is funneled downstairs. The line can sometimes grow. It moves quickly when there are people working the registers but when there are two or the dreaded one person working, prepare to be patient. Overall, I'm happy that H&M moved to this market (Is it 6?) years ago. I'll continue to be a customer for the foreseeable future. read more

It seems H&Ms can go the way of Krogers, Targets and Forever 21s. There are the good ones and the bad ones -- or at least the ones you shop at because they are convenient and the ones you drive or walk the extra distance for. And happily, the brand new H&M in Oxmoor Center is an H&Mpressive, not an H&Meh. On its first day open the music was pumping, and the sales were generous. Even with the throng of mostly female shoppers, all items seemed neat and organized. I found many deals, which makes it already heads and shoulders above the H&M in the Florence Mall, near Cincinnati. (Yes, I admit I'm a little bit of an H&Mthusiast.) And with two floors, there is ample selection in the men's, women's, maternity, children's and accessories sections. Another plus over the Florence store. Is this H&M better than the one in Chicago? No. But will women be taking sojourns to Louisville to get their discount trendy goodness like I and my friends once did to H&Ms in other cities? I very much think so. read more

I love H&M! And I've never had a bad experience at this location. The store can be a bit unorganized, but I feel like I've seen that in lots of H&M locations, as well as other department stores. Outside of that, I love their clothing and accessories, and the prices are great! You can find really cute items, that are surprisingly high quality, for a fraction of what you may pay elsewhere. My trips to H&M have been hit or miss, sometimes I find items and sometimes I don't, but I always love shopping around the store. The service here is always quick and friendly, and I've performed returns here as well and never had an issue with them. If you're looking for a fun place to shop for both closet staple items, as well as trendy stuff, H&M is a great store to check out. read more

today i was at oxmoor mall and i walked by h&m and saw this sweater i really liked. i didn't know where this was in the store, so after looking around for a long time, i realized it was on the other side of the rack. keep in mind, there was no signs or any limitations placed to keep me from entering this area and looking at these clothes. if these clothes WERE off limits, why did all of the clothing items have tags and looked for sale? and if the area is "prohibited" why are there no restrictions set in place to avoid people going back there? this place is shows ageism towards younger people with the question, "how old are you guys to be doing this?" what had we been doing wrong? looking at clothes? being an apparently prohibited place even though there were no precautions taken to avoid this issue. i was called out by the worker, madison, and i do not appreciate this at all. read more

What horrible customer service! Each and every visit, the person checking me out is either having a conversation about how drunk they were the night before with the person next to them or completely unaware and not listening to you. I continued to ask the register attendant for a gift receipt since I was purchasing a robe for a bride. The guy said he would and didn't. I specifically asked him to again and he told me he would and put it in the bag. O lay to find out, he just printed another receipt with the price. He ALSO charged me TWICE for the $26 robe. Ridiculous! His SA number is 79111 he should be fired with the way he treated a guest! I am sick and tired of going into this store and the staff at the front speaking to the co worker next to them and completely ignoring the person they are waiting on. It is both rude and ridiculous!!!! I will NEVER go to H&M again! AND in case you didn't know... I just did research and found out that they use children workers in Cambodia as young as 4,5, and 6! Terrible Service- BEWARE of Christy - Skinny Asian lady (Shelbyville KY Location) 2/9/19 I was trying to make a purchase on 2/9, I ran my card ($395), signed and then the lady said " oh I need to run your card again, it didn't go through because my printer didn't print a receipt" This sounded really strange since the screen never said my card was denied. I looked up on my Amex app and yes- showed right there transaction listed. I tried to show the lady who kept insisting that since nothing printed on her printer that I wasn't charged. I wasn't going to have her run it again for a large amount. I was there for around 15 mins. I asked for a manager she said she was the manger, didn't ask for help from anyone else or wanted to hear that it showed going thru on my card. Ended up getting frustrated and leaving without the items. Well here I am being charged on my credit card for the entire transaction with no items to show. This woman needs to be far away from the service industry, at this point I won't be wasting my time at HM. Now I have to waste my time trying to fix this mess. Ahhhh, How I love H&M! It is like a Forever 21 for those of us who are forever 21 and over but will never set foot in Cold Water Creek or Chico's. The styles are trendy yet minimalist, unlike the explosive, blinding patterns in some sections of Forever 21. This store is smaller than the one on Michigan Ave in Chicago but bigger than the one in downtown Indianapolis. The women's section is on the first floor and the second floor contains mens and the children's section. Too bad I was already beyond my normal couple hours of shopping longevity by the time I came into this store. I just did a quick walk-about and dragged my tired feet (in cute boots!) out of the mall. I will have to start with this store the next time I am here. There are many cute tops, coats and skirts waiting for me. read more

Best H&M in this area. If you are looking for something super affordable and decent looking it's a great place to go. Designs (size) are not standardized so I always need to try them on and decide if I want them. Ex) your normal size is 4 but H&M can be 6 or maybe 8. The prices were phenomenal BUT we drove up here for my daughter to use her gift card and get some clothes and they tell us they their system is down and they can't take our fit cards. Entertainment app is 100% legit and when you refuse to honor it then people won't buy them. The dressing rooms alone make me hate this location of a brand I love so much. There's only two upstairs in the men's section and miraculously there's always a line and some asshole in front of me that takes 1,262,574 minutes.
