My car is old enough to be in college and, as such, has had plenty of things go wrong in the past couple years. Mark has 1. kept it on the road and 2. always been very fair and honest in all my experiences. He's also very polite and personable as well, which unfortunately seems to be a rare trait in this industry.
One thing I particularly like is that he has been happy to explain / show / teach about the different parts involved and their issues. This way, not only do I come away a little bit more equipped w/ car knowledge, but I also come away with the priceless confidence and peace that I'm not getting ripped off.
There have been several times where he's alerted me to issues, but said they aren't critical and probably don't need fixing - something the average unscrupulous mechanic, who cares more about a buck than the customer, would never say. As I said before honesty seems to be rare in this field, so now that I've found someone I can trust, I'm thankfully sticking with him.
The prices have always been reasonable too. read more
