She was recommended by the Bridal Shop that I purchased my dress, and I was lucky enough to secure appointments in store. For my first fitting, I especially appreciated that she explained each alteration that needed to be done and why, along with additional info/details regarding the fabric itself, and how it behaves. She also provided recommendations for certain things, that made it clear she's very experienced in this area. The bodice on my dress had to be taken in a little bit, and Alice made a point of asking if I wanted regular bra cups or push-up bra cups sewn in. I would normally have gone with the regular cups, but she mentioned that the push bra cups help make the bust look fuller on the outside for photos, whereas the regular cups would make it look flat. It's the details like this that distinguish a good job and a great job. I absolutely recommend hiring Alice, my dress looked amazing and she is wonderful!

After shopping for months online and in person, that's all I could find, mainly due to my awkward size. I was panicking, with the wedding just two weeks away, when I called Sandra. Without even having met me, she immediately promised to do all she could do to find me something. I realized I'd found an angel. After our initial appointment to get my measurements, Sandra texted me almost daily as she hunted for a dress that she could make fit; within a few days she sent photos of one, a gorgeous formal beaded dress, more gorgeous than I could have imagined. I was afraid there wasn't time to make the necessary alterations, especially since Sandra was booked every day. Yet she MADE TIME for the process and spent HOURS doing delicate needlework to accommodate my wishes (I felt the neckline was too low). That alteration necessitated even more work, I didn't realize until later, to readjust the delicate folds and seaming. It was like watching magic in motion. Sandra worked weekends to hem the gown to exact specifications, and I was thrilled when I saw myself in it, just days before the wedding! It made me feel like a queen. She could have charged far more than she did; if anything, she UNDERcharged me! This is a lady who loves her art and exists for creating beauty and passing it on to others. As much as she impressed me and my husband with her skills and artistry, Sandra's warmth, calming demeanor, and exquisite kindness made what should have been a nerve-wracking, hand-wringing experience into a pleasant, productive interlude before the Big Day. The dress got scores of compliments at the wedding and erased my anxiety about being photographed, which I'd dreaded for months. The owner of this place named Emma informs me on July 5th, 2023 that she was NOT able to order the 6 dresses that she promised would be ready by the end of July 2023. I ordered this on May 27th, why did she wait over a month to let me know she was NOT able to get the dresses any longer. I had also placed an order for a signature book and I had to exchange the item for something else. The signature book looked cheap and ugly. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Stressful experience and now I have to find 6 dresses for the damas in less than 7 weeks. I'm disappointed and my daughter was really upset too.
