The tables were clean, and there were lively pool matches happening all around. We started off with lunch. I had a salad and got some extra chicken and wow... some of the most tender, flavourful chicken breast I've ever had dining outside. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. My teammates also seemed happy with their food. There were also vegetarian options available. Then we played pool. Everything was set up neatly, and easy to access. The poolhall is dimly lit and has a cozy vibe. It's easy to get into your game, even though there are matches happening all around you.

(Low lighting) We went for happy hour (4-6pm on a Friday) and had $5 bar rails, $7 chicken bites, and full price pretzels $9. We played an hour of pool on the 9ft tables. They also have 7ft tables for rent. The chicken bites were really good in a Nashville sauce (a bit spicy). The pretzels were served hot with a honey mustard sauce. Both were great and I would definitely eat again. Overall the food this time was much better and the drinks weren't too watered down (ask for less ice). Positive experience!

Recently, I decided to get some takeout from Swiss Chalet. It's funny that I have yet to step foot in either eatery. I tend to hit the drive-thru to get my takeout and head home. Staff are friendly here. I got my usual these days, which is a quarter chicken dinner with a roll and chalet sauce. I get a salad with dressing as my side. I approached the window and paid with a credit card. I tapped and all was great. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. The woman handed over everything to me in a paper bag. I thanked her and drove home. My car smelled so good with my dinner next to me. I enjoyed my meal. The chicken was hot, flavourful, and yummy. The roll was warm. It came with butter, which was perfect. The chalet sauce was the right amount for me to dunk all chicken morsels in it. I like the side salad at Swiss Chalet. You get a lot of it and it's fresh. The dressing is excellent. Frankly, all veggie sides are good, from the mashed potatoes with gravy, to corn. If you like green beans and garlic, get this version from Swiss Chalet. Delicious! It's a decent Swiss Chalet. It's not my closest location, but I'd return here when I'm in the area. (426)

I learnt they did it back the day to save on paper napkin products. Whenever I go back I try to order the Thanksgiving feast family special for takeout. I love the Chalet sauce and wish I could take it out in bottle form if they do sell those (not sure!) to use to bring back across the border. We don't have much rotisserie chicken restaurants here in the US. I will say the when you take out the fries, they come soggy so best to eat in restaurant if that is the case.
