We visited Zacs Balti in Wem on New Years Eve. We had to wait for a table to be cleaned and then when we sat down had to wait for a menu. we ordered popadoms, which arrived fairly quickly and were very nice.. but then. We noticed a nearby table who had been there longer than us were waiting for their main course too, we found out that they had been waiting 3 hours for their food. We waited..and waited I went to the bar and asked for another drink and was told that our main would be 5 minutes. I went back to the table and waited, and waited, and waited. the people at a nearby table decided to leave, they had been waiting for their food and had had enough, they explained to the manager that they were disgusted, he charged them for their starter and drinks, and they left we waited. I was fed up, and very hungry, so I went and said that I was leaving as I wasn`t happy and was told that our food was ready and waiting in the kitchen (he seemed oblivious to the fact that we had been waiting so long). we said that if it didn`t come now we would go. Two currys arrived at the table, no rice, no chips, no naan. We were so hungry we started eating the curry, a waiter came over and asked if everything was Ok with our mealwe said that we hadn`t actually got most of our mealsome rice arrivedit wasn`t the rice we had orderedit actually belonged to the people who had been waiting 3 hours. i asked them if they had by any chance got our chips, or rice. Then our rice arrived. We asked where our chips were, a little later the chips arrived, but by then we had eaten most of our curry as we were so hungry. then our naan bread arrived. i was so fed up by now and to make matters even worse the chef came out and started laughing and joking with some people on another table. The waiter apologised for everything and explained that he had also been doing deliveries. he was shocked that everyone had been waiting so long..
I dont like to rant but this is how we found it, and we will not be going back read more
