My wife had trouble with her laptop and he fixed it and now it works great. It's better than buying a new one.

I'm a lawyer of 42 years experience & have had many repair services for my office computer system &…read morethen when I switched to working from home. I used the services of Chris the owner of COMPUTER SYSTEMS REPAIR this August of 2021 to service 2 of my desktop computers (on the older backup I'd already cannablized my 3rd computer that had a burned out motherboard & removed it's graphic's card & RAM to upgade my 2d older computer & downloaded the appropriate drivers & it was working well but the read indicated I only had 8GB of RAM rather than the 16 I'd installed. My primary computer's HDMI port on the graphics card had stopped functioning. I called Chris COMPUTER SYSTEMS REPAIR & he was very friendly & easy to talk with. He answered a question I had that was totally unrelated to what I'd called about, was up front about the cost of coming to my home across town, fixed the problem I was having w/the RAM on my backup computer & told him to let me know when he'd be charging for a 2d hour at which point he told me it'd take another hour to completely make sure the fix for my primary computer's graphic's card was the correct option & he wanted to run some tests at his shop & he could've completed that the same day but asked if it'd be ok if I got my primary computer back the next day, which was fine w/me. He completely resolved the problem with the bad HDMI port on the graphics card plus did a fabulous job resolving the peoblem with the RAM on my 2d computer, & did everything for the cost of 2 hours time including what had to be at least 30 minutes travel one way (I chose to pickup my computer the 2d day) & answered at least a dozen other questions that had piled up over time & all for a total out of pocket of $195. Honestly, I wasn't certain that my problem on my primary computer was even the HDMI port for I was not getting any picture & switched out several cords & was resigned to buying a new desktop for about $1200, so I feel I saved myself $1,000 & now have a knowledgable repair guy who comes to my home for a reasonable price of $45 as I'm in Royal Oak & he is in Mt Clemans. I don't believe he charges for travel time if he doesn't have to go as far as he did in my case, but $45 to come from Mt Clemens is a good deal & I feel I'm as tech savey as the average person, yet he diagnosed & fixed the problems on both computers, oh & switched a hard drive from the cannabilized 3rd computer to insert it into my 2d computer to give me 3 internal hard drives on that computer, & all for a total of $195, which anyone reading this knows they'd have paid a far far more if they'd taken the 2 computers to the Microcenter or the so-called "Geek Squad" at Best Buy or called some other private shop that services office computers & so forth. Chris & COMPUTER SYSTEMS REPAIR was EXTREMELY TECH KNOWLEDGABLE, AND EXCEPTIONALLY gracious, friendly, forthcoming with answers to whatever questions I asked & REASONABLY PRICED. HE IS WHO I WILL CALL FOR ANY FUTURE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH MY COMPUTERS OR THE SYSTEM I HAVE THEM RUNNING ON. ABSOLUTELY 5 STARS FOR QUALITY OF SERVICE, KNOWLEDGE, FRIENDLINESS, SPEED & PRICE.

Things have changed a lot in the last 7 years, though, and I was just stumped. I always like giving my business to local places, and I liked that they had the word speedy in the name. Sure enough, they got back to me quickly...to say that there was damage to the motherboard. Oops... I guess I'm not the computer expert I thought I was. I figured this was going to be where they try to sell me an expensive motherboard, but I was told it would be cheaper if I ordered my own. While I didn't enjoy having to spend the extra money, I still had a smile when I realized that my computer was in good hands. Once I got them the new motherboard, they basically had to build an entire computer from scratch, because everything connects to motherboard. But, they cut me a deal with the price. It would have been a couple hundred dollars more if I handed them the parts and ask them to build it. Everything works beautifully now. And, I enjoy talking about geeky old-school computer things with the people there. While I don't like to admit that I can't handle things, I know where to go if I have any issue with a computer.
