This is one of my favorite places in Lawton. Small place in a little strip of shops, but it comes up big in flavor! The employees here are wonderful and they really care about their food. We've had the chicken biryani, chicken tikka marsala and some tandoor kebabs so far and don't regret a single order. The sides are great too. The place is clean, staff are very courteous and helpful. The food is a little bit a let down of the taste but it's not so far from the real thing. The yogurt sauce is little bit watery. The fresh bread is awesome though. The price is within reach. Again this is my opinion on the food I ordered and not to generalized the food they offer. This is an excellent "out of the norm" spot that satisfies my pallet. One of the best dishes is the Chicken Hara Masala ($7.99) with Garlic Naan ($1.99) and Basmati rice. My husband tried the Friday Goat Special ($11.99), the meat was so tender and flavorful. We are definitely repeat customers. read more

Surprisingly excellent home cooked Indo/Pakistani food in Lawton OK. It is a very small unassuming place in an aged strip mall but has wonderful authentic food, likely cooked by the wife. The chicken tikka, and chana Masala was some of the best that I have had. It was spicier than the usual Indian restaurant, probably because it is Pakistani. We had the buffet(Tuesday -Sa) , which was great for $9.99 and included lovely Masala chai (tea). read more

Great customer service! The food was made fresh upon order (even the naan) and tasted delicious. The chai tea was also yummy and came in an insulated carafe so it stayed hot throughout the meal. The prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes. read more

I wish there were more complexity to the dish, but the simplicity may be a side effect of ordering to go when there's an enormous table full of military bros waiting at the same time as you. This restaurant is truly a gem. The owner (and I assume his wife) run a fantastic establishment. They are so genuine and kind, but that's not even the beginning. The kebabs have an awesome spice blend to them that make them very flavorful. The Masooda's Chicken curry is awesome and the Chicken Tikka-Masala is a familiar favorite to some, and is prepared perfectly. The food is so authentic and it tastes amazing. The chai tea is perfect after dinner, especially if you add a bit of sugar. The Naan bread is chewy with an awesome texture. I wanted something foreign and exotic to try and this place is perfect. It is a modest-looking restaurant with humble owners who cook excellent food. More people need to know about them! I took my friends and they really enjoyed it. read more

I had high hopes for this place because from what I could tell, it's the only place in town serving this type of food. I'm sorry to say that I wasn't impressed with the chicken tikka masala. The meat didn't have a consistent texture. Some pieces were tender while others more tough. I really loved the veggie rice though. Basamati rice is one of my favorites, and they do it right here! Maybe it was an off night, but it wasn't compelling enough for me to want to come back. Perhaps I shouldn't have played it safe and chosen a more unique dish to this restaurant, but I also feel like you have to master the classics. I've had a lot of places to compare for tikka masala, and this one just fell short. read more

We were so disappointed when we found no Indian restaurants here in town. But it's as close as we can get here in lawton. It's a bit mom and pop-y but I would definitely recommend the Friday special: goat curry. It wasn't great but it's the only option in town. They could go up in the spicey department but I think the majority of lawton prob couldn't do real Indian spice levels. My new favorite takeout in Lawton! Got takeout tonight from this great little mom and pop place. Had the chicken kebab with rice, an order of garlic naan, plus the raita and the mint yogurt dip. Everything was very fresh and tasted amazing. The chicken was extremely tender, well seasoned, and a little spicy. And all at a relatively reasonable price. I'd probably skip the mint sauce next time - a little expensive for a tiny little container. And only 1 garlic naan for $2. But the kebab meal was very reasonably priced and the raita came in a good sized container so I guess it all evens out. Regardless - check this place out. read more

They are very vegetarian friendly for the wife and have amazing food, it was so good I've gone twice in two days, which is abnormal for me. Got the vegetable pakora and Kahari chicken - both were great. The sauce that comes with the vegetable pakora provides some extra garlic flavor. Another sauce you can use is a cucumber sauce that is a bit more subtle. The Kahari chicken came with naan which was great as well. Recommend the restaurant and will be going back. read more

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The people who work there are very nice and often go out of their way to make the visit pleasant. The food is beautifully spiced and perfectly cooked. The naan is chewy and delicious and the garlic naan is utterly decadent dripping with butter and garlic. The dal is unbelievably flavorful, a perfect symphony of well-balanced flavor. It is so great to come to Lawton on a Friday so I can get the goat special. I've had it with palak paneer and also with the mixed vegetables. I prefer the spinach dish. The naan is good. The lamb is spicy but good. It comes with rice but I skip it to save room for rice pudding (kheer) for dessert. Come give it a try. read more
