I'm a new patient at Rittenhouse Women's Wellness Center as of May 2021. I've been into the office…read moretwice so far, and have had positive experiences in person on both occasions. The first was for an annual check up, which was very easy to schedule over the phone. At the end of this appointment, I tried to schedule a follow up appointment for some bloodwork and a vaccination. I was told that you cannot make appointments in-person and had to do so online, which I found a bit frustrating because I prefer making my follow ups while there so I don't forget. After my first visit, I was sent information via email regarding how to sign up for their online portal. I did so and attempted to make the follow up appointments I needed, sadly the website is tricky to navigate, and the "services" I needed, did not appear as options for me to select while scheduling. Five months later... I finally got around to calling and was able to make the appointment over the phone but learned that they no longer do bloodwork in house. I was easily able to schedule my vaccination appointment with options as early as the same day and next day. This week I arrived early by for my 8:15 AM appointment. I was seen about 10 minutes late, but that's fine. I was provided with paperwork regarding the vaccination I was receiving and then administered the vaccine. This process took about 10 minutes start to finish. After leaving, I realized that I do not have a follow up appointment scheduled yet, and will need one. I plan to call sooner than later to ensure I don't go another five months without returning. I've found the staff members to be kind and professional. I really liked Molly Lee, who did my annual as she was thorough and informative. In a perfect world, I'd be able to schedule my next appointments while there in person.

I will echo some of the recent reviews. I've been with this practice for 13 years, and for a…read morevariety of reasons (in and out of their control, I assume), they have NOT lived up to a good standard of care recently. They don't have sick visits in any remotely reasonable time frame (instead they have told me to go to urgent care, even though it costs me double my co-pay with my doctor). They don't always get back to patients on the portal. Each doctor I've met and who has cared for me is very personable and kind and takes time to hear me, but access to doctors is extremely limited (telehealth or otherwise). Overall, they seem very overworked/overenrolled or just have very limited hours. I hate to bail on the practice, but this is endlessly frustrating, and I don't really feel well taken care of.

I went to this Dr. office a few years ago now. Her bedside manner is meh and she never remembered…read morewho I was. At one point when I tried to talk about multiple issues in one appointment she told me that she limits the number of issues she'll talk about to 2 or 3 per visit. I was like ?? OK... The final straw was when I had a UTI and went there for a test. I told the medical assistant (or nurse, not sure) that I had a UTI for sure and I was in pain. They told me to let them decide that. They did a quick urine test and told me I did not have an infection. The Dr. referred me to a urinary specialist to see if there was another problem. I ended up waiting almost 2 months to get into the urinary specialist only to be told that I was very sick with a bad UTI. They seemed very concerned and treated me at that time. That's when I gave up on Dr. Dougherty's practice but honestly, I should have done that a lot sooner.

A professional, smiling , caring and genuinely concerned health provider. Questions asked regarding my issues, symptoms, previous issues and if those issues could be related to now, the questions were asked professionally but in a non judgmental manner. Vitals were taken by a nurse who obviously made you feel at ease and in a comfortable manner. From check in through examination to check out, one could not have felt more relaxed and at ease. Dr Dougherty is a breed of professional rarely found in a business that unfortunately seems based on money, insurance and for lack of words, " get the patient in and get them out" Dr Dougherty genuinely cares for her people and has the empathy lacked by the greater majority in a business thats unfortunately changing into an actual business. I cant thank her and her staff enough for making me feel like a human, like a person with feelings that Dr Dougherty and crew actually care for. If you have the need for a real hearted professional Dr. and staff, i urge you to return to a time where a person has a name, not just a number and file, My best regards to a staff that cares and gives from the heart. sincerely , Al ************

LIFE SAVER! I believe Jaie Bosse may have saved my life. I was on HCTZ for over 10 years for high…read morebp, and in 2017, I was taken off the HCTZ and was prescribed a couple more meds by a cardiologist. More than once it went as high as 200/100, and Dec 2017, my chiro caught it at 200/115, straight to urgent care I went. That Dr did some tests, asked me a lot of questions and saw no signs of a potential stroke, at the end of that session, my bp came down to 150/90-100 (I forget exactly). So he didn't change any meds but told me to see my cardiologist. I did that, and she told me to just keep doing what I'm doing and changed nothing. Those meds she gave me made me feel sick, light-headed, blurred vision, confused, very sleepy and brought my heart rate down to the low 50's. She didn't see anything wrong with all of that I guess, but I DID!! It was suggested by my sister and a friend to look into seeing a Naturopath. So, I asked my chiro, Dr. Lenny Roberts of Summit Spine and Wellness, if he knew of any and he recommended Jaie Bosse. Well, since seeing Jaie in Jan/Feb 2018, and taking her recommended suppliments, my bp has been GREAT!! I stopped taking those horrible meds and just take the suppliments now. I just had my bp checked by a professional and it was 122/84!!! It hasn't been that low in eons!! I feel so much better now and am so grateful to Jaie! I never thought I could get off of those dreadful meds and live to tell about it. THANK YOU Jaie Bosse!!

This is how medicine SHOULD be…read more I'm so over western medicine treating symptoms. And by "treating," of course I mean masking them with drugs loaded with side effects & tested on animals. (Said the DO's daughter & the MD's sister...sorry not sorry, Dad & Bro!) Naturopathy in general, and Dr. Jaie Bosse in particular, addresses the whole person and works to find the underlying causes of the symptoms. Then, the symptoms are treated with nutrition & dietary modifications, vitamins, and herbs (meditation and exercise can help here too!). Do you see the difference here? (Eastern medicine does this as well, for the record.) After talking with Dr. Jaie for an hour, we narrowed down my symptoms to a few diagnosis options. She sent me for bloodwork, she's been very communicative via email, continuing to research my condition, and in deciding on my treatment, she also reached out to my acupuncturist so that ALL of my healthcare professionals would be on the same page. So now, I have a diagnosis and a treatment regimen. Which makes me feel better already. As do the supplements I'm beginning to take and the dietary changes I'm beginning to make. AND... Today, I found out that my health insurance through my work accepts Dr. Jaie's exam as my annual physical! YAY!

You attempt to schedule appointments with this organization and they constantly cancel. Not good…read morebusiness. I do not approve. Is this really a legitimate business?

I had an intake appointment scheduled for anxiety treatment on 8/27, confirmed 24 hours in advance…read more That morning, before I'd finished the new-patient paperwork (via Zocdoc, per the practice's own instructions), the office canceled my appointment by text. I called and they reinstated it -- at no point was I told I needed to use a separate patient portal instead of Zocdoc. I completed the Zocdoc paperwork and arrived. Front desk staff told me the forms were invalid and that a different portal was required -- something I was never informed of, including during that morning's call. Staff seemed unaware the practice had sent me Zocdoc instructions to begin with. Rather than resolve their own scheduling error, they canceled my appointment a second time at check-in. I informed staff and an on-site psychiatrist that I was near the end of my current anxiety medication and concerned about withdrawal. That psychiatrist offered to reschedule me. Another Psychiatrist then intervened, blamed me for the administrative error, and told the other psychiatrist she wasn't permitted to answer my medication question outside of a scheduled appointment -- leaving a stated safety concern unaddressed with two providers present. During this exchange, three staff members positioned themselves standing around and above me while Ms. Mouras addressed me in a raised, hostile tone. No one sat down, lowered their voice, or made any effort to de-escalate. I was given no privacy and no space to speak without feeling outnumbered and physically crowded, in what was supposed to be a mental health setting for a patient presenting with anxiety. I ultimately left the practice without receiving any care, treatment, or resolution to my medication concern. I've filed a formal complaint with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing regarding this incident.
