They claim to only have 25 burgers available each day. On the side he had their curly fries. Service was on point. I might add that the step down restaurant was very cozy and the vibe of Old Prague. I'm only in town for a few more days but I'm going back before I leave.

It's located near the Namesti Miru station on a mostly residential street. Beautifully decorated, we were seated immediately. Friendly server brought us our menus. We considered the BBQ Sampler but thought it would be too much as we weren't super hungry. Settled for the beef brisket and the pork ribs lunch. Both were excellent. Meat just fell of the bones, perfectly sauced. Fries were good. Unfortunately we didn't try the sides - guess we'll have to save that for next time. After getting to know Prague better, good 'Q doesn't surprise me anymore. Prague is well known for its meats and the restaurant scene is definitely on point.

The beer goulash on the other hand was interesting and hearty. I wouldn't classify it as wonderful, but decent, with sizable chunks of meat in there. Overall, the food was good, and worth the visit. RESTAURANT As is typical in Prague, water is expensive, and often more expensive that sodas or alcohols. I got a chuckle out of seeing things like whiskey being the same price as water. We got two ciders, which were absolutely delicious. The service was also friendly, which was nice. The decor is interesting, and the seating quite comfortably spaced out. ADVICE One thing - if you plan on using your credit card, I do recommend that you tell them to use the local currency, CZK, when charging the card. I'm not sure why they decided to go with USD without asking me, as it literally offers zero benefits to a foreigner, and all the negatives. For those wondering, if you have a card that doesn't waive foreign transaction fees, using USD doesn't prevent your card from charging the fees. The fee is for foreign transactions, not foreign currency. If you have a card that waives those fees, you're obviously losing out by charging to USD, as the exchange rate is awful.

We had one of the best meals of our entire European trip at Zdenek's. This was perhaps helped by…read morethe fact that we love seafood and especially oysters. This is a very nice classy place (I honestly felt slightly underdressed in my touristy best). But they welcomed us openly and seated us immediately. We found the staff to be super helpful, taking our coats, answering our questions and pouring us countless glasses of water (we were super thirsty). We started with oysters, which are shucked immediately and perfectly prepared. I mean like expert shucking here. And the oysters themselves were from all areas around the Mediterranean and were both larger than the ones we typically get here in the states and really complex in flavor. We were basically in oyster heaven. We took the suggestion of our server and ordered a kind of sampler to start, then we ordered a few more of our favorites. The oysters were perfectly presented with a trio of sauces. We don't know what was in the green one but we really REALLY liked it. We also kind of sort of accidentally ordered this huge lobster grill platter. Our waiter, who was great, didn't speak super English. I was asking him which platter he liked the best and he said the lobster. My husband wanted the shrimp and I thought we ordered the shrimp. I then watched the chef make this incredible lobster platter on ice and was just really admiring the attention to detail... and then they brought it to our table! Whoops. Well I wasn't going to send it back. We ate it and did not regret it at all. Also, can I just pause for a second to talk about the bread and butter that is served here? There are two oyster shell halves cleaned out and filled with butter and one of them is full of butter laced with black caviar. Just shut up. I ate all of the bread so I could eat all of the caviar. Man. So great. And in the end the bill was quite reasonable, especially when compared to what we'd pay for a similar feast at home. It was so good we seriously considered going back a second time but we ran out of time. Next time we're in Prague, though, this will be very high on the list for a re-visit.
