Wish I could give 10 stars! We have been with this studio since my son was 5 years old and he is now 7. My son is autistic with high behaviors and wanted to go with someone who has experience and work well with special needs. During my first meeting with them, they did not disappoint and are so patient with him but also teaching him respect which has been so big for us especially taking it into our home. Their patience is just absolutely unmatched! When my son had a screaming meltdown the sensei was able to sit with him in the lobby until he was able to calm him down and walk him back into the dojo which was just so amazing to see! They have always been so calm and understanding with him! And he even went to his first tournament this year and after lots of practice at the dojo and at home, he got trophies for both the events he was in! My son absolutely loves it here and they work with your schedule! He really excels with his private lessons and love that there are also 3 group lessons a week that we have the option to attend on top of that as well! everyone always greets my lil ninja with open arms! While training with Z-Ultimate over the last 9 years our son has learned how gratifying and satisfying it can be to stretch himself mentally, emotionally and physically while accomplishing his best. Our son absolutely loves it here! They have brought him out of his comfort zone and he is learning great self defense! Courtney and Devon are amazing and he loves being goofy with them. Yes, they have their times where it's serious learning, however, they know when the kiddos need to have fun and be kids! This is a great place! It is ran by great people who are very personable, they are very patient with the kids. It's Not "pretend karate" what ever the hell that is. These are black belt instructors who can kick ass! I love that my son is learning how to be confident, he's learning how to defend himself as well as making friends. Horrible customer service. I was considering this school for my daughter. The trial class went great and she loved it. As soon as we got in the room to go over pricing not even 2 mins pass by without a gentleman interrupting us as we just start to go over the pricing. He rudely told the woman to hurry up because he has lessons waiting. At that point I excused my self and they had the nerve to ask me to schedule a follow up call. Being my daughter fell in love I was ready to sign the dotted line but customer is everything to me. I ended up signed with a class across the street same day being they had a because sense of urgency to thoroughly explain everything to me. This should be a lesson to you both, during these times not a lot of people are willing to spend $400 a month for something that's not a necessity. Your consultations should be treated like gold. I'm glad your true colors came out on the first visit rather than later. read more

An awesome place for kids and adults alike to learn martial arts in a very welcoming and non-intimidating atmosphere. Both myself and my son train here. I started my 5 year old here 1 year ago. We initially chose this dojo because all the Senseis have such an amazing ability to connect with kids and they were easily able to engage my shy child. Since that time he's really flourished here- greatly increased his confidence, improved his balance/body awareness to the point he no longer requires physical therapy and most importantly the Senseis here make Karate class fun by teaching self defense through age appropriate games and drills. He loves coming to class!! Class is offered 3 times a week plus one 30 min private lesson. Weapons training is also available and both my son and I do nunchucks. Outside of the regular schedule they do super fun kid's night outs, summer camps, days in the park and tournaments 3 times per year. After watching from the side for a few months I couldn't resist trying out the adult class. The self defense I've learned has been invaluable and empowering, it's a great workout, and we've truly met so many awesome people at this dojo. It's a real community and I couldn't say enough good things about all the instructors at this location. Come check out a class and you'll see exactly what I mean. read more

I like this place alot. The atmosphere is awesome. The two Senseis are excellent as instructors This place follows the style of Shaolin Kempo, a combination of different disciples.. However on the side of caution... if you have the money take the classes, if you don't, just don't. It gets pretty expensive ($185 per month on a 24 month contact, a regular month by month is $250) in the long run and i'm getting hit harder by it, even with the termination of a 24 month contact. I won't be going anymore, but still I would like to continue in the future when i can. read more

My 4 year old son trained here for a few months. I have to say that they are very good with kids. My son wasn't very motivated initially but he gradually became more and more interested. Sensei Johnny is able to generate good rapport with kids and is firm enough to get results. I would have loved for my so to continue, but he's into so many activities we had to give this one up for some time in the future, but I would definitely recommend this dojo for anyone interested in learning to be more confident and assertive. read more
