DERAR , I highly recommend this place ( CMS), If I could give more than 5 stars I would . specially Sensi Toney and Josh  . I tried Several places for my son I found CMS is the best , they know how to deal with the kids, beside the self defense  technique , my son learned discipline, patient, respect, and obedience. CMS gives more hours to practice not only one hour or less like other places ,also have a gym for the parents and visitor to work out while watching  their kids  for very very little fee , not only that ,but Sensi Toney and Josh helping me in the gym too teaching me the right way to work out. Sensei Emory is the best Sensei that i ever seen. He really connected and command respect from these kids. I really don't know how he does it but he got all the kids to do what he says like soldiers. I can't get my kids to do that but he does it with all the kids. My daughter learned JuJitsu for almost 3 years and she is doing great and not afraid of anyone. My son also study Jujitsu for 3 years and he has gotten better at it but boys learn things slower than girls. I need these kids to learned self defense because you never know when you need it and also build self respect and self confidence for sure. read more

My son attends their little champs class and he loves it. He looks forward to going to the gym every time. I can tell all the kids loves going here as well. Sensei Emory is the perfect instructor for the kids. He may be called the 'Dojo Pitbull' but he is a gentle and kind. He has the patience of a saint when it comes to these kids and always encouraging. The Dojo is clean, no sweaty smells at all . The owner, Sensei Josh is very approachable and very easy to work with. This place is the best place in California to get fit!!!!! It's 100 times better than a regular Gym!! I started taking my 4 year old to Little Champs and I love how the instructors are with the kids. They make learning the moves fun and they are stern when the kids get out of control. After a while I looked into their adult classes and went to check it out. I was hooked!!!!!! Sensei Toni and Catherine know what they are doing. They do NOT fool around when it comes to working out. Their exercises are intense and fun. It is never boring. I saw results 2 weeks after I signed up. Basically you have a personal trainer everyday working with you! They include a diet plan and answer any questions you have about food, vitamins, prior injuries anything that concerns you. I have met some cool people there. Everyone there is kind and friendly. The first time I went Sabrina was so good to me. She kept motivating me, telling me I was doing good and that I could do it! It is nothing like a traditional gym where it's a competition to see who is fitter or who has the biggest muscles. This place is like working out with your best friend who is a personal trainer. I can't recommend this place enough! I am a mother of two and they allow me to bring my kids (as long as they stay out of harms way) once in a while. I love this place come check it out for yourself! Great environment (one star) but I didn't feel welcome. I didn't know who to talk to and although I made several attempts to meet the one in charge there was no interest whatsoever. Sensi Emery IS AMAZING! I had to just get that part out the way. So I found this place on yelp looking for place my son who is 8 could build his self confidence and learn respect and learn to defend himself if needed ever. This place came up first I called few other places but after going to combiner MS site directly reading what they stand for and believe ect I knew I really wanted to check this place out. So I took my son for his free first day trail, sensi Emery welcomed my son right away and made him feel comfortable we have been going here now for 4 months and I can already see difference in my sons confidence and respect for his belongings and us as parents. He is also learning and getting great at MMA and Jujitsu I'm so so proud. I honestly cannot recommended this place enough. Signed up my 5 year old for this class. I signed up for a class 5-8 (something like that). My first impression was okay, the gym smelled awful, it was HOT, floor was so dirty. We were early for the class to gather his belongings( tshirt, shin guards etc) As I walked in people were already training (a mixture of all ages including adults). I had to hunt down the trainer/sensei or see who was in charge just to get my son his stuff. This was my sons first experience trying martial arts so he was so excited. This felt more like "playtime". They did circuit training with ALL ages. Ages 4-50?! Sometimes it was his actual age group. We stayed for a month bc I thought it'll get better and this is how "martial arts" is. Maybe you learn by watching ? But no, the sensei helped my son maybe once? And that's because I asked the sensei how to tie his belt and my son didn't know where to go or what to do, he couldn't reach the speed bag. No one showed any direction or "training" or care to anyone new. They just shouted after the timer and went to their next station. As if someone new (again my son is 5) is supposed to know what to do. Again, we've never done this before. I had My dad (who does Muay Thai) visit & he had to step in and teach my son how to tie his belt and how to hit from the sidelines. etc. He was surprised no one was actually being taught anything. If you don't already know the trainers you won't be trained and your child will run around with Adults like a gym fitness class, don't come here. There are far better gyms that will actually train your kid and are welcoming and family oriented. I know many others who compete & train in martial arts, this place is a joke. I'm surprised it has good reviews. I wish I took pictures. I just took my son because I paid for the month& he liked to do the circuit training but in the end he wasn't taught ANYTHING. I was never approached, neither was my son. The only time I was approached was when they asked if I wanted to pay for another month. HA! So my son can run around aimlessly with a bunch of adults? Pass. Worst first experience! If you're a parent and thinking about signing up your child, go elsewhere. There's other great places! read more

So I've been coming to this dojo for about 7 years and ever since the first day I started I have never left or moved to a bigger name gym. This dojo is a really humble and none judgmental environment no matter your background or experience. We have fire fighters, police officers, realtors, air Marshall's, lawyers, nurses and everything in between. No one gets treated any different here and that's what I love. I started not knowing anything but what I would learn off of YouTube and now 12 fights in a cage 6 of them being professional my record stands at 10 win and 2 losses and I am currently the king of the cage welterweight champ which I just acquired on June 22nd with the same coaches that started with me since my very first day. Just to name some of the few coaches that have helped me throughout these 7 years are Tony And Josh Allen, Emory Clay, Chris Lee and the very well known K1 and very prestigious coach Eddy Millis. If you are looking for a place where your kids can learn martial arts, get good exercise and have fun, I cannot recommend this Dojo enough. My girls started about 15 months ago when they saw the listing in our local Parks & Rec brochure for a one month class. I figured why not let them try it and get some exercise. Turns out they loved it so much that over a year later they are still going twice a week. My oldest daughter is athletic and it's great to see her gaining strength and confidence. My youngest daughter is not athetic -- doesn't like to break a sweat, but in these classes, she always sweats without complaint, as she enjoys it. When she started she was shy and lacking in confidence. Now she gets in there and I can really see a difference. The sensei, Tony, is really involved and gets everyone motivated. He focuses on respect and doing the right thing, which are good values. My husband and I used to watch our girls, but with Tony's encouragement, we now work out with the kids too. Sometimes we join the class, and other times we work out on the equipment he has. I am not a person who goes to the gym -- pretty boring -- but during these classes the time just flies. It's never the same thing twice and I look forward to working out. I have found myself getting stronger and it's great to have something that the whole family can do together. Awesome place for youngsters to learn discipline, self-confidence and self defense. My boy has been coming here since he was four through the rec center of Rancho then we transferred to the dojo about 10 years ago. First class teachers building confidence and fortitude. My boy is a better person because of his experience here. He is confident to defend himself and has learned many things that have helped him in his everyday life through martial arts. The staff here is first class and the training facility meet all our needs. I would highly recommend coming in and checking it out. I was skeptical enrolling my daughter in this at 1st. I thought it would be too "tough" for her, but I was wrong. Sensei Avery is one of the instructors there and IN MY OPINION (and most of the other parents too), he is the best instructor for the kids. Although he is stringent with them and demands their attention and respect, he is very caring and tries to teach them life lessons through MMA. The gym is neat and usually clean and the other parents are welcoming. We have had a membership here for 3 years now. The instructors have become part of our extended family. All the instructors are patient and tailor their teaching to the level of the student. You will always be gently encouraged to do a little more, but if you are like me and only want to spar or roll on the mat every now and then that is not a problem.
