They were able to use google maps to do a virtual visit and provide a quote within a few hours. I had questions and wanted to modify a few things and they were really easy to communicate with. I had most of the windows replaced in my house in Mount Vernon because the old windows were single…read morepane, some were cracked, and the wood frames were deteriorated to some extent on almost all of them. Overall I am happy with the result, but there was some lack of attention to detail that I noticed. 1) On the first day of the 2-day installation, they finished working before I got home from work. My front door had been left wide open with nobody there after they left. I have no idea how long it was open before I got home, and nothing was taken from the house, but it was still annoying. 2) Caulking was forgotten on one of the windows when the trim was fully reassembled. In other places, the caulking was very messy or on spots of the trim where there was no reason for it to be. 3) Due to the age of this house (1940) and the construction of the old windows, some wood had to be added to fill a gap between the new window frame and the existing wooden sill on the exterior. Rather than cutting 3/4" pieces of new wood to fill the gap with, they used old wood that had been taken from elsewhere in the old window assemblies. This is unpainted, untreated wood that is exposed to the elements and at risk of rotting now until I can paint it.
