beyond furious. I am sitting here looking absolutely awful, completely unrecognizable from what I asked for, and I literally sat in my car crying my eyes out over how badly the Lawrence staff botched my hair.
Let me be clear: if you ever make the mistake of coming to this location, ONLY ask for Aubrey. She was amazing, sweet, and did her absolute best. This is 100% NOT her fault. This disaster is entirely on the instructor who was supposed to be supervising her, and the disgusting, cowardly way she handled it afterward.
I paid $100.00 yesterday just to walk out looking EXACTLY THE SAME as when I walked in. When I got a call from the instructor, she was rude as hell from the second she opened her mouth. She didn't try to fix a single thing. Instead, she tried to cover her own ass by lecturing me about "the process"--claiming things were explained to me that were never muttered to me or my student stylist.
I was so upset and defeated that I literally said, "I'll just have to shave my head because this is awful." Any decent human being or educator would say, "Oh no, please don't do that, let's figure this out." This miserable instructor just coldly said, "Okay."
Then came the scam. She had the audacity to try and charge me ANOTHER $100 to fix their mistake. That is $200 total for hair that they messed up! When I demanded to know why I had to pay twice for a service I never even received, she tried to blame ME, saying, "Well, if you would have shown me a picture of what you wanted it would be different." I DID SHOW A PICTURE! She completely lied to deflect from her own incompetence.
To top off the absolute lack of professionalism, as I was in the middle of speaking and asking a question, she loudly shouted over me and HUNG UP ON ME. What kind of trash business hangs up on a paying customer who is in tears? She just wanted off the phone so she could go lie to her bosses and say I refused her "help," when she was actually trying to extort another $100 out of me.
Yes, this is a student school. Yes, it's cheaper. But the students do exactly what their instructors tell them to do. Shame on you. Shame on your disgusting rudeness, your absolute lack of accountability, and your garbage customer service. No one should EVER leave a business in tears because an instructor is too proud to admit they failed a student and a client. Unbelievably awful. read more
