I loved the flavor, it was very light tasting. I also ordered the steamed white asparagus covered with hollandaise sauce with herbed potatoes on the side. It was super delicious and fresh! It was my first time tasting their local delicacy and it was worth it! Th sauce wasn't overly seasoned, but goes well with the asparagus. The herbed potatoes was cooked well, and tasted light as well. There's no parking lot so just park along the street.

Friendly but not attentive. Pizza was totally bland in taste and they were out of mushrooms! Not exactly a rare item that you could not get on a Thursday. My wife had the Spaghetti Bolognese and my youngest the penne with tomato sauce. Everything tasted like it was out of a can. All in all it did not live up to our expectations. The restaurant is situated on the Basler Straße and does not look much from the outside, however step through the door and your typical German rustic restaurant. The menu is a mix of German and Greek dishes. I had the Dolmades to start with which he said were excellent. My wife had schwein steak with bratkartofferln and I had Stifado. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. Drinks are very reasonably priced with a Hefeweizen at 2.80 Euros. Excellent value for money and good home cooked food. Visited September 2012
