It supposed to be a great school in the region. However, we were surprised by the mess we saw at their New Brunswick location this year. First of all, it seems they can't even retain their teachers. For this past year, they have changed the teacher 4 times so far, and every time the change was announced right before class begin or the end of the previous class. Then, they encouraged parents to participate on the parents observation day. But when I rescheduled my other events to be there, I could only find they have a new teacher. The new teacher was neither prepared nor feeling comfortable to have the parents around. I could only see the last 5 minutes of the class and that 5 minutes were not impressive at all. I could understand things happen all the time. But you can't throw surprises one after another at the parents throgh out the school year. This school need serious improvements on their management.

From my perspective, your position in dances was based solely on size and weight and not on skill. I have many friends who also had similar experiences with this dance academy. While I did learn some, I mainly developed the skill of doubting myself in everything I do, specifically dancing. I attended Flair for 4 years, and even after all those years Ms.Amanda, the owner and my instructor for 3 of the 4 years, couldn't remember my name. It was most likely because I was in the back for almost all of the dances I was in and didn't conversate with any of the other dancers besides her favorites.
