She made me feel super confident and directed me throughout the whole shooting. I've showed her three pics before which I wanted and I got exactly these three as I wanted them. She was listening to my preferences but gave super advice and tips for the shoot so that I've got 130 pics in an hour shoot and two different stages. After only 5 hours the pics were uploaded online and I can choose which i want to purchase. It's 20eur per pic for digital and print which I think I very fair. The pics came out great and it was really hard to choose the best ones! I'm more than impressed and the result is much better than I Could have ever imagine! I really look like in a magazine Also I was super under Time pressure and they were super understanding and got the pics super super fast for me done !!! So thanks again, I can highly recommend this studio and will definitely come back if I want nice and professional photos again!

Got to the hotel and was greeted by a nice lady. She walked me to my room, the entrance was located outside the hotel, which I think is the basement or lower ground. I got a single bed with shared shower and bathroom along the hallway. I was the only one using the bathroom that time so no big deal and it was clean. Make sure to close your window shade as people can see your room from the parking lot! Restaurants and market are walking distance. Taxi back to the airport is 23 euros. Take Uber if you can.
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. I signed up for yelp to leave this review…read moreas I sit in the airport After maybe 2 hours sleep. The room was in the basement directly beside the kitchen, community bathroom, community shower room, etc etc underground with a small window at the top. Walls are paper thin so you can hear people urinating and more all the time, so thin you can hear the tearing of the toilet paper when they are finished To make matters worse their plumbing is not correct and when the water in kitchen or shower is used the sink in the bedroom close to the bed erupts like a volcano making tons of loud bubbling noise which woke me up every 20 minutes all night long. The bathroom itself was putrid and had a chemical clean smell with a very clear underlining filth smell that left you feeling ill with a slight gagging feeling in your throats once you leave - your body knows it's a bad place to be. The kitchen appliances are broken and staff didn't notify me so I bought some food that I ended up not eating. Hate this place, especially room 30. I ask front desk if they were full the previous evening and he said no, I suggested they book room 30 last as it's directly beside kitchen and bathrooms with nothing to block noise - he was rude and dismissive.

Good speed no problem uploading or downloading. -Rooms were clean & good sized, not too small -Decent location just off the subways stop and easy to get to downtown area by train. By foot it is doable but expect to be walking for a bit -Free coffee/expresso in lobby -Free ice cream and dessert snacks in the evening. -Location is situated next to a brewery and is very quiet during the evening CONS -First time we checked out for the first few nights we stayed, a miscellaneous 7 euros charge was due. No idea what it was for and front desk couldn't even tell us what the charge was for. Note that rooms were prepaid. -Second time we checked out for a last night in Munich, they tried to charge us again for the room even though room was prepaid. They definitely need a better sort of system to figure what's been charged and paid already. -Showers have no doors or curtains, so everytime we showered water would get all over the floor. Expect to dedicate one towel to drying the floor after each use. Not sure I got much else on this one. 'Til next time, cheers! 210/365

Shower is a little annoying because there is only half a door, but cleaning service is daily so not much of an issue. Good restaurants nearby for takeout. There are disposable utensils in the room or you can request from front desk if needed. Only thing that would have made the stay better was a fridge, but otherwise the place was perfect. Having an S Bahn Train Station downstairs is convenient in order to head to more interesting areas or a way to get to the main train station. Be very careful walking in front of the hotel. We saw the aftermath of a pedestrian get taken out by a bicyclist. Munich really needs to re-think their bike lanes because there are no clear borders from pedestrians and the bicyclists ride as fast as they can with no regard for pedestrians. I'm on the fence in regard to this hotel.

The hotel itself is clean, classic, and absolutely stunning. The decor was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. When traveling internationally it is always a fear that you might feel on edge, but at the Charles we felt so safe and taken care of. The concierge had insights on where to go for Christmas markets and eat in the area as well as knowledge about local transportation. They also offered a car service so that we could have a flexible day trip over to Austria. The location is also perfect to walk to Marienplatz and several other attractions nearby. They have great room service and accommodated every request AND MORE. And don't even get me started on the Florio restaurant. It was delicious! For the holidays they had special decorations and offerings which included a pre fixe meal at their Michelin rated restaurant the Florio. Breakfast was also included everyday which was PERFECT. We also received some sweet hospitality gifts from the staff. We are extremely thankful for the Charles as they played an immense part in making our trip fantastic! Thank you for making our trip memorable and special.

It's quite large and located right in the center of Munich right across from a beautiful park. The entire staff that we encountered was extremely polite and very accommodating. We also ordered room service many times and every single time it was consistently very good. This hotel has many amenities such as a spa and meeting rooms and other things we did not utilize, but it's great to know that they are there. Pricing is also fair in my opinion, there are a lot cheaper places around Munich, but this one really delivers. The only issue that we had is that the air conditioning in the night seemed to almost turn off, so it got quite warm in the room from midnight to 6 AM but still we had a great stay and I would happily stay here again next time I'm in Munich which I hope is pretty soon.
