I actually didn't think this hotel was too bad! But there's only 1 English review, and the rest is…read morein German, so I might be missing something. Here's my take on the place though.
We booked this through Expedia 1.5 weeks before our stay, we picked this hotel because of the closeness it was to the Munich Airport (15 min drive), the price ($111/night), and that the rooms could accommodate 3 ppl. I feel majority of hotels in Europe usually only accommodate 2 ppl, so having 2 queen beds was a plus!
Public Transportation: we took Bus 512 from the Munich Airport to the hotel. The bus did a roundabout way of getting to the hotel, but none the less, it got us there in 40 min or so. The bus stop is like 100 ft away from the hotel. (We paid 5,60 Euros each for bus fare)
The hotel does offer shuttle service, round trip 20 Euros. We actually took the shuttle to the airport the next morning and it was 10 Euros per person one way. Not a bad price I thought!
We ate at the restaurant next door the night we got in. 3 of us ordered pasta, salad, and alcoholic drinks. I thought the food was good, no complaints! They have a good outdoor patio too. (The restaurant isn't physically connected to the hotel, but you are able to charge the meal to your hotel room)
the hotel isn't really near any shops. Cody decided to walk to the grocery store from here, and it took him 30 min one way. (So probably a little over a mile to some shops)
I thought the room itself was quite spacious. No A/C, but we slept with the window open so it felt fine. The bathroom was clean too and decent sized with a normal sized tub.
Overall, we had a good stay and it was easy access to Munich Airport!
