Notice that I didn't say cheap, only reasonable. But when you compare this beef with for example beef from le Bourdonnec or Hugo Desnoyer, and you see that you're paying about half of what you would be at those two elite butchers', you realise that this place is actually a find. If you have a taste for high level meat, you should know about this place and come here . Not only that, the welcome is friendly and the empanadas are wonderful, really quite good . There is also a very good selection of Argentine wine to match with your wonderful picanha. I know of no other place in Paris where I can buy fresh and correctly butchered picanha for €35 per kilo. Fairly good sized grocery store with a lot of selection. This place was a great way for us to stock our fridge with snacks and drinks for when we were kickin' back in the room. Not only that, you do it at a great price. As much as I do love Paris, it can get expensive out there! Also, check out the bakery area to the front left when you first enter. They sell decent little sandwiches ready to eat on the spot for less than 3 euros! Sodas are just 1.5 euros as opposed to the much more rapey prices around town of 3-5 euros for a 16 oz bottle. Plus the macarons are less than 1 euro a piece here, which is about the cheapest I saw them anywhere around town. Most people I ran into could not speak much English but still were able to help me out with pantomiming and a few chosen words. lol But they were always nice and figured out a way to communicate an answer to me. Accessibility: the store we visited most often was good. Like most places in Europe it was a bit small, but at least they had a ramp and elevator (and escalator) which was great for my wife.
