Monoprix is a fantastic, large supermarket in the Beauganelle mall in Paris, which recently opened after a refurb, which sadly only reopened on the penultimate day on my trip to Paris, and I'm delighted to say this place id right round the corner of my hotel.
This place is quite big, with a supermarket on the lower floor and the first floor having some designer brands, and a nice branch of Starbucks Coffee, a franchise store owned by Monoprix.
The supermarket floor is really nice, they have a large amount of fresh food counters even for cheeses, and they also have a really cool fresh fruit juicer, where you can juice your own orangw, which is really cheap too with bottles costing 4.25 a litre in euros, and smaller 33cl bottles for 1.50 euros, meanwhile the exact same thing could cost up to 4x as much in other stalls around Paris such as near the landmark Tour Eiffel.
The staff here seemed nice too, and everything around here, smelt nice, it even had the country of origin for the fruits, which was cool.
The staff spoken basic english, if any here but still semmed really helpful. They charge for bags here, with a paper bag for 9 cents or 18 cents for a larger, nicer more Bag for life type.
I have been here twice now on opening day and the day after that, and they seem to be improving and this is a really nice, fresh, cool supermarket in French with a great selection, fresh feel and nice staff and warrants a solid 4 stars read more
