The Paris version of Target for us American visitors. So much gifts, food, treats, home decor, clothes, wine, etc. They have fresh fruits and veggies, wine and snacks on the lower level, with clothes and home decor on the above level, and body care and food on ground level. Everything was super organized and I was able to get a lot of chocolate to bring back as gifts. I bought one of the cold, need to be heated meals. And it wasn't that good. It was so soggy. I also got a rice ball and sandwich which were fine, but I would not recommend the cold meals unless it's the sushi. Tl;dr - Paris Verizon of target, lots of gifts you can bring back, don't get the cold food bowls. read more

Love this place they have everything with good prices. They have almost everything you need.

Extremely busy location. And, it opens late too! Me, I was bowled over by skin creams and lotions---nettoyants, crème pour les yeux, etc. Bought great concealers and such at a markedly lower price than you-know-where. I.E. : Vichy 14 hour coverage concealer €18 instead of the $26 I paid. Shelves and shelves of a girl's face's fantasies. But then again, certainly there were two men I spotted getting skin care advice from the lady as well! read more

I love this Monoprix. I specifically went there to buy soaps and other beauty products. The cosmetic attendants immediately helped me when I couldn't find my exact shade in the Bourjois cosmetics. There were also attendants in the Nyx huge cosmetics wall. They also had a huge variety of Le Petit Marseillais products. Why three stars? The B.O. of one of the female cashiers was abominable. Monoprix management should require its staff to take showers every day and wear deodorant. How could this lady even stand her own smell? I feel sorry for the cashier next to her. I love these mini department stores and the quick sandwiches and fresh juice are always a welcome, as I shop for tid-bits, jet lagged;)

First of all, we speak no French. Aside from "Bonjour," "Merci Beaucoup," and "Excusez Moi," everything else we will nod to. So, with this in perspective, we go on to profess our love for Monoprix. On a whim, it is definitely one of the most comprehensive stores - here, we found Mustela (a very good brand for babies lotion and wash), Roger & Gallet soap (at 6 euros per bar, which is pretty expensive), and all types of food ranging from vegetables, fruits to bacon, cream and everything. What I love here the most is the creme fraiche, it's like a beautiful pudding with super creamy and sweet whipped cream in a glass/plastic container - and it comes in 3 flavors -we tried the vanilla and coffee flavor, and it was magnificent. We also loved the rice fermented with cream and all that goodness. We enjoyed their bread too - which was a steal at 0.50 euros each. the first time when we had gone, an awesome madam cashier pointed out to us that we can take an apple for free at the exit because we have a baby. How awesome is that! The price is relative in comparison to that in Los Angeles, and it was very enjoyable. We will have fond memories of you forever, Monoprix. read more

Monoprix is like Target but better and I could spend hours here. I love browsing through the drugstore items and am fascinated by the products and smells that appeal to the French consumer. I always stock up on Le Marsellais bath gel in "Lait". There is also a huge makeup area and you are welcome to browse the testers for as long as you like without being pestered. Monoprix's bathing suits are often stylish and inexpensive and their lingerie is often a good buy. This Monoprix, in particular, has a vast food hall in the basement and is very useful for stocking up on snacks for the room, wine, beer, etc.. read more

My go-to Monoprix while in Paris! Monoprix is to Paris what Target is to the U.S. and they sell everything. On the street level, they sell to-go sandwiches and ready-made dishes. My favorite is the bo bun bowl which consists of Vietnamese noodles topped with beef, asian veggies and a spring roll. On the other side, there's french cosmetics, a pharmacy and women's clothes. But wait! there's more! Lots more! on the bottom level, is a grocery store where you can also get household items - included plug adaptors. read more

for some reason, items at Monoprix are 10-30% more expensive than at other supermarkets (for exactly the same products), like Carrefour/Franprix/Intermarché/. That said, they usually offer more options/brands (but charged at a premium) The firm owning Monoprix is known for spending a lot of money on marketing, communication, digital stuff, fancy packaging and branding,... obviously it comes at a cost also, the loyalty program changed a couple of months ago, and it's now extremely poor read more

I think I came to this store every night when I was in Paris. It is a great store because it is open 24 hours. They have just about everything here-from clothes to fruits. I purchased food as souvenirs here. Just do not expect to buy alcohol after 9PM here. read more

This is an odd store by US standards. It sells clothes and purses on the street level, and on the ground level (basement by US standards) it is a full service grocery store that also has a cafe. We stopped here for a breakfast after the place we intended to try was closed for vacation. The food was ok but nothing special. We were more impressed with the grocery store which had an extensive selection of everything you want, including high quality packaged lunches and sandwiches. We intend to do our grocery shopping here. read more

As stated in previous reviews, this is the Parisian version of Target. Toiletries, groceries, clothing, they have it all. In every location I've been to, the food has always been on the below-ground level. Every day I would visit our local one to get snacks and picnic items, then walk down the street to get wine from a wine shop, cheese from the cheese shop, and bread from the street's bakery. This is particularly a great place to pick up take-home gifts like grey salt, wine, chocolate candies, and teas. The prices aren't cheap but you'll find everything you need in most cases. I speak minimal French and got along here just fine. read more

I am so glad a friend who visits Paris regularly suggested Monoprix. So I knew they sold clothes, accessories and groceries and depending on where you're at in Paris some stores ....sell Paris souvenirs! I loved the Paris souvenirs section they offered a variety of items for very reasonable prices. SO...note not all stores have the Paris souvenir section. This store I checked in on St. Michel did have a coffee and a huge fresh bakery section which we purchase chocolate croissants that were very, very delicious and w/ coffee less than 2 US dollars. I prefer Monoprix to Carrefour. I go out of my way to come here, despite having Carrefour right next door to my building. The biggest reason being because they accept American Express, Carrefour doesn't, and it has a big selection. Upstairs is beauty products and accessories, and downstairs is the grocery and alcohol. The fruit and veg you can get at one of the many markets in the area but for other essentials they have a wide selection. I don't know how it's size compares to other Parisian grocery stores but the place gets pretty packed. The only time it's been relatively empty was an hour or so before closing on a Saturday. Like most, they close early on Sunday. It takes a while to get used to that as an American who's used to having grocery stores open 24/7. read more
