Great little grocery store. Has all the basics for making meals at home or grabbing a salad or sandwich on the go. Small selection of baked goods. Mostly self check out counters. A few tables outside to eat. read more

Convenient to the hip & popular Marais area of Paris. See note at end of review / hours regarding the later hours than most. Good selection of fresh produce, wines and a limited selection of hard liquor--but most tastes will be satisfied with one brand or another of Vodka, Scotch, Rum, etc. Also, there are some tasty prepared deli salads in the refridgerated case. Be prepared to bag your own groceries--which is the norm at any supermarket in Paris. Credit cards accepted, VS/MC. Note: This Supermarche is open later than most of the surrounding markets. Convenient when you miss the others which may be closer to you.

The store was in close proximity to our hotel, so it was quite convenient to return as needed. In my opinion, the prices were pretty good. My swan song from a disappointing trip in the bird department. Off the eye test, it doesn't get much better. The beautiful sight of tissi's rotating in front of a fire breathing oven, potatoes in the tray below collecting the chicken juices as they fell, had me ready to run around the Bastille plaza yelling "LE MOUVEMENT!!". I thought this was going to be my first high level bird in the City of Light. Much to my chagrin, the one I got was just lukewarm. I was ready for my fingerprints to be fully burned off. There was so much potential here, but as always, I have to judge what's in front of me. If I don't have my integrity I have nothing. It landed at an 8.1/10 on the restaurant scale which is good, but if it was hot it could have been up there with the greats in the rare 9 territory. Unrealized potential is one of the most depressing things in the world. IG @johnny.novo Tiktok @jnov__ Substack @johnnynovo

While having stayed here in Le Marais, I have found everything I need here for a great price,…read moreincluding wine at less than 5 euro a bottle... Don't get me wrong, the 12 Euro and up wine is great too, but why spend that when you can spend half and drink well? The "grocery store" brands here do not compromise on quality, and there are tons of well-curated items here... my favorites-- well, aside from the wine and beer section-- are: 1) the bottled pancetta and tomato sauce (which is really difficult to find in this store); 2) the chocolate-dipped gaufres (5 to a pack for less than 1.50 Euro); and 3) the store-brand carrot soup. It is very easy to find complements here to round out a great meal around cheese and a baguette from somewhere really good. Sometimes the people who work here can seem like jerks, but that was surprisingly not true on my last visit... note well: they close at 19:00.

Lot of hate for this Franprix but it ended up being out grocery go-to during a recent vacation…read more It's right outside the entrance to the St Paul metro stop and just a few blocks from our flat. The store is in the smaller side and seems perpetually crowded but it seemed cleaner to me than the nearby G20. There's no bakery to speak of, but there are 2 great boulangeries on the same block. Overall, it had what we needed - snacks, cheap but decent wine ($3.19 bottles, holla!), mineral water and breakfast items. Cashiers are generally surly.
