Referred by a friend who raved about her healing experience with Jason Neff, I went to him for help…read morewith the chronic insomnia I've had for years. Since being treated by Jason, I've been sleeping now for months, for over seven hours/night almost without exception. I've been to more than a few acupuncturists in my time and rank Jason at the top of my list. He's the first one whose treatments have felt like an induced deep meditation, gentle, comforting and healing. And the acupuncture is just one aspect of his treatments. Jason recommended two simple life-altering breathing exercises and has helped me on numerous occasions with his low-key Yoda-like wisdom. On top of everything, he's friendly, positive and unassuming.  I'll add that I was living in Manhattan when going to Jason for acupuncture and told him before he'd stuck me with the first needle that I'd like a referral to someone in Manhattan, that the trip was just too much. After that first visit, I never asked again for that referral. I made the trip to see him, eagerly.

I've seen Dr. Sharma several times. With all due respect to the other reviewer ....I'm sorry but…read more ....but I had to speak up because the review below was just off. Not an accurate description... Dr. Sharma isn't nearly as bad as she explains, not even close! Yes the office is not tidy but I've never seen syringes laying around. Educational materials and pamphlets...yes sure. Plenty. big deal. Dr. Sharma spends a lot of time with you and really goes over your entire 'wholistic approach'. She took out a huge binder and educated me on hormones, thyroid, and dietary approaches for my condition. At the time, I wasn't ready to convert to sprouts and a raw diet so i disregarded some of her advice but she was on track with many things and recommended some good supplements... several of which she sold at a decent price. Anytime you see any doctor, especially a holistic doctor who doesn't send you for bloodwork covered by insurance, you should know to bring your bloodwork! I have 2 folders full of all the labwork I have collected over the years. Especially if you have a known health condition, or chronic condition, you should keep a copy of your labwork every time you have any done!! Dr. Sharma is also an acupuncturist and I had some excellent results with stress relief after the 'included' acupuncture session. It was included in the initial $250 visit where she goes over everything with you. She does chelation for heavy metals toxicity and intravenous Vitamin C therapy which is known to kill cancer. She does a wide variety of stuff and doesn't charge a ton, and so maybe doesn't have enough staff to clean up more. I have almost NO doctors that I really respect when it comes to their knowledge and what they are doing. I believe she is a very knowledgable doctor of holistic medicine. She gave me a diet and supplements and lifestyle suggestions, including tapping. Told me to sprout...can't remember the rest. But I'm considering going back and that's why I looked her up and saw that scathing unfair review. Just evening up the score a bit here. Thank you.

Jennifer is the best!…read more I had been trying to get pregnant for 2 years, and within only a few months under her care I conceived! Jennifer used a combination of acupuncture and supplements (along with close attention to my cycle and associated symptoms). Not only are her treatments effective, but Jennifer is really patient, open minded and she is a really thorough listener. I feel that she has the ideal bedside manner that I would want in any sort of practitioner. She makes me feel comfortable and taken care of (but at the same time she is pretty upbeat and has a good sense of humor). Even though I'm pregnant, and my primary goal of therapy has been achieved, I still see her regularly because she now helps me with a variety of ailments - back pain, anxiety, insomnia, sinusitis. You name it Jennifer can ameliorate it. I recommend Jennifer O'Brien and her business Radiant Health Acupuncture wholeheartedly.

I had been to two doctors, had X-Ray and MRI--diagnosis: herniated disks and degenerative disk disease. I was getting moderate relief from physical therapy, and no relief from meds. Then I had a major setback after a year--pain came on worse than ever. I could not walk more than 20 feet without taking a rest. I was set to schedule surgery, but thought I'd try acupuncture beforehand--what did I have to lose? Jennifer's work changed the entire course of my pain. I felt better the day after my first visit, and the pain was down 50% after three weeks and 80% after six weeks. For me, there were three prongs to this success--1) the established health benefits of acupuncture, when done by a skilled practitioner, 2) the altered state of relaxation when getting acupuncture as the ultimate staycation 3) Jennifer's holistic approach that recommended the work of John Sarno and the mind/body connection of back pain. If you're getting frustrated looking for solutions to back pain, try Jennifer at Radiant. It works for me.
