I reached out to Dr. Horowitz via his Facebook page and he reached out to me almost immediately. He gave me some immediate things I could do to alleviate my pain and we set-up an appointment to see if orthotics were the correct treatment option. Dr. Horowitz was incredibly informative as he walked me through the entire treatment process including a detailed explanation of the cause of my pain. I'm very happy to say that after a few short months I no longer am suffering from shin splints and I owe all the credit to Dr. Horowitz and his amazing team at Vancouver Orthotics.

Therapists are wonderful, except Riddi Shah. she is not confident in her skills and asks her patients what she technique she should use instead of employing various skills that she recommends. i felt like i was preparing my own sessions as I worked with her. i recommend Jaspreet for amazing service and you will actually feel supported with her treatments and feel progresss. i felt no progress with Riddi's treatments either and she did not want to listen to her patients preferences as that was too much for her and will cancel all your future appointments without any prior communication. Riddi is very is unprofessional and is not knowledgeable about her practice as evidenced by her seeming very confused about simple tasks and questions.

He's honest and straight forward and flexible - if you request a natural method to treat what ails you, he'll recommend options. The office hours vary between Monday to Thursday but normally it's your average 9am to 5pm but he has been known to have early morning appointments starting at 7am. He no longer sees walk ins, you must have an appointment. Currently he's no longer accepting new patients. The only downfall is that the wait can be a little long but always worth the wait as Dr Hii actually listens to the concerns of his patients. I'll be very sad when he retires as they have very few doctors like him anymore.

I have been a patient of Dr. Halparin for over 20 years. I saw him once in the downstairs pharmacy…read morebut he did not acknowledge me. During my next appointment (way back when) I asked him why. He said because of the nature of his specialty some of his patients preferred not to be acknowledged publicly. It was incomprehensible to me that anyone who could literally save your life would have to consider that. Aside from his technical skills, I have appreciated his forthright approach, respectful manner, subtle underlying strength and sense of humour. I also have appreciated the support of his staff from the assistant at the office to the nurses at the procedures and in the recovery area. It is probable that if I had not seen Dr. Halparin and been comfortable enough under his care to see him every few years ,I may not have been around to see my grandchildren May I repeat the slogan "Don't be embarassed to Death." Find a Dr. that you trust and take care of business. Respectfully Sandra A.
